Fiori di zucca fritti con alici,saltimbocca alla romana, cicoria ripassata e abbacchio al forno con patate davvero ottimi. Cameriere gentilissimo che ci ha consigliato i piatti da provare

We were allowed to use the toilet free of charge and without any problems, but unfortunately we didn't find out what the food was like

Top rated restaurant. Typical Roman cuisine. Sautéed chicory and top-rated appetizer. Super carbonara and gricia, exquisite tiramisu that I could have eaten a thousand of. Room with external part at the front, internal part in front of the kitchen and veranda behind the kitchen, very cute. Witty and kind owner. A small jewel in the Ostiense area, adjacent to the Basilica of San Paolo.

Bravi a mantenere inalterata offerta cucina romana negli anni,sempre la stessa e sempre autentica,pochi posti a roma cosi'.. . Si paga contanti,evviva. Prezzi giusti.

29/08/2024: Very friendly staff, welcoming place, "feeling" portions (and there's a lot of feeling) and exceptional cuisine! If we weren't separated by 500km I would come every week, one of the best places I've ever eaten
27/08/2024: Had a great meal, authentic Roman cuisine. Despite the time (10pm) they welcomed us with a smile and even brought water for the dog. Highly recommended

10/08/2024: Let me start out by saying, I don't know if I've had bad pasta anywhere in Rome, so this definitely isn't outside the ordinary for my Rome restaurant reviews. They're on another level here! At the Old Bear, I had the Spaghetti amatriciana, caprese salad, muscles and tomato bruschetta. I guess the worst part was, the pasta was cooked just slightly north of al dente, but definitely was still delicious. The muscles tasted like they were same day caught, and the mozzarella was so incredibly fresh! The bruschetta wasn't anything to write home about, but it wasn't bad either. You definitely can't go wrong with Old Bear!
