Just a few meters away from the Basilica of S. Paolo, the restaurant, a typical Roman trattoria, delighted us with abundant and super tasty dishes typical of the local cuisine. Four people with four first courses, four second courses with respective super good side dishes, sweet coffee, house wine...€40 per person. As soon as I return to Rome I will return, also to meet the owner with his staff, exquisite people, like their dishes.

Second time I go. Really good, traditional food with generous portions. Pleasant and simple environment. Excessively nice waiter with swear words to accentuate his friendliness which has the opposite effect, but the place fits the bill. The only sore point was having discovered that the wine cost 24 euros per bottle. It would have been helpful to have a breakdown of the cost instead of hearing jokes. Even though the group of friends was light-hearted in ordering all that wine and eating like evacuees, the evening was pleasant. I recommend being more formal in the service because eating in a restaurant does not necessarily mean suffering an intrusive and uninformative attitude

23/02/2025: The staff was very friendly and funny. We had wonderful memories here. I even wanted to write a review before finishing my meal. The dishes we chose are shown in the pictures. Filetto di manzo gorgonzola, Orata fresca, melanzane marinate 👌 Make sure to try them when you visit; you won’t regret it!
23/02/2025: My partner and I had dinner there, as we were staying in the Monti district. We ordered amatricciana pasta and meat lasagna, everything was very good. The service was fast and the atmosphere was great. We paid around 28 euros with drinks.
