Za Bar In Siracusa

I was staying in the excellent rental apartment above this bar, and I came in here to buy some beers. We also stopped for coffee before we left the city. The staff was very friendly and everything tasted great.

We had a fantastic coffee and even an iced coffee! The Nutella croissant was so fresh !!!

The kindness of strangers! We’ve had coffee at this lovely cafe several times over our two visits to Syracuse/Ortigia. Today we stopped in midway through our morning walk, oblivious to the heavy rain that was about to start. We started under the umbrellas outside and once the rain got heavy we were encouraged to come inside. They had to keep working around us to mop up the rain that came in before they closed the doors, then as soon as possible set a table up for us to sit at to wait out the storm. Way above and beyond expectations!

Excellent street food and great range of drinks. A little dearer than expected.

Cofee and cornerto perfect. A small local bar opened from 6am until night. Authentic atmosphere.

Highly recommended bar, everything excellent and perfect, the calzone and the Pizzoli are excellent, and the cocktails made very well especially by the very sweet owner 🥰

Very nice waiter who helped us well and spoke good English
