Yi Wei Chinese Art Restaurant (Nuova Gestione da Aprile 2018) In Genova

A rather well-known and esteemed establishment, both among locals and the many tourists who frequent Porta Soprana and Piazza De Ferrari, right across the street from the restaurant. "Only" a 3 🌟 ⭐ 🌟, however, for some aspects of the service that shouldn't exist in an establishment that proclaims itself "artistic," although the quality of the food and wines live up to that promise. In order: I didn't appreciate the fact that they brought me half-shelled ginger prawns while I was still finishing the pork (which should have been brought after the 🐟🐡 anyway), and that I had to ask for at least one piece of cutlery, the fork, to be replaced, which should have been standard practice; and therefore I reluctantly had to eat the four completely frozen shellfish. But the thing that most shocked me was having to ask three times, from different staff, for a lemon wipe to clean my hands, only to receive the following response, which, I repeat, left me speechless: "We don't have wipes, only napkins!" [...] This is incredible, given that after handling mussels, seafood, and crustaceans, it's unfortunately not enough to wash your hands thoroughly, as the odor still isn't eliminated. And honestly, it's HABITUALLY the case that I'm regularly provided with these wipes even in any suburban dive when I dine at a fixed-price lunch! Otherwise, the atmosphere is welcoming, the place is nice, and the service is quite attentive, along with the very welcome fact that they still serve dinner after 10:30 PM.

The menu is rich in choices and excellent dishes. Special mention goes to the ravioli and desserts. Friendly staff, welcoming and spacious dining room. Everything was excellent.

Many vegan options. Excellent Asian cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff. Great prices and good food. We really appreciated the menu, which includes a special vegan label.

Was craving Chinese food one night in Genova, but couldn't find a take-away place with the food we wanted. Ended up pulling up at this restaurant and they were so kind, accommodating our request for take-away. We of course still gave a tip, seeing as it's a restaurant and not a take-away shop. The food was amazing, and they even gave us prawn chips and soy-sauce as well. Highly recommend the Bao buns especially! 10/10, would recommend

Vegan friendly but not good food from my perspective.

We went to dinner on Saturday night at this restaurant in the center of Genoa, excellent spring rolls and steamed ravioli, very good both the Cantonese rice and rice noodles with vegetables. Very kind staff. Very clean place - Recommended.

Siamo stati sabato sera a cena in questo ristorante in centro a Genova, ottimi involtini primavera e ravioli vapore, buonissimo sia il riso alla cantonese che spaghetti di riso con verdure. Personale gentilissimo. Locale pulitissimo- Consigliato.

Very kind staff and very nice environment. There is a lot of space between one table and another, it is very comfortable. Very good food, you can see that there is care and tradition behind it. Highly recommended!
