Wirthaus St. Urban In Scena

This inn is something very special! A little outside of Verdins, but still easily accessible. Really great food, we had pizza and pasta and went there three times this holiday! That says it all. Friendly, quick service. When it's very full, the acoustics are difficult and loud, but that's somewhat normal in such a small restaurant where everything takes place in one room. We are thrilled and will definitely come back more often in the future! Keep it up!

Super tasty food, nice and attentive service, fair prices. If we had discovered it earlier on vacation, we would have gone here more often. Absolute recommendation. The mushroom schnitzel was terrific!

We went to St. Urban for dinner today (Monday) due to the many positive reviews. Called at 1 p.m. and asked if there was still a table for two available at 6:30 p.m. According to the employee, it was the last table still available. When we came in, the dining room was full. Since the temperatures were very low, you couldn't eat on the terrace. The boss, supported by a young man, had everything under control. Both were constantly on the move bringing or clearing away drinks and food. A few reviews write that the boss has a “brusque” tone and is very hectic. Please people: please don't take yourself so seriously and expect to be constantly "patted" just because you're a guest! "We sat for 2.5 hours and then were asked to vacate the table even though we hadn't ordered dessert yet." -> Is it still okay? Put your egoism aside and think about your fellow human beings. People do their best to please all guests and to earn a few euros at the end of the day. If that's no longer the case, such restaurants will no longer exist at some point and no one wants that. Now to the food: we had the onion roast with fried potatoes (€24) and the burger with wedges (€15). Both portions are very large and hard to manage. The burger patty was homemade, well seasoned and still juicy. Fresh lettuce and onions. The onion roast was medium rare and still slightly pink in the core, nice and tender. There was also a delicious brown sauce and lots of braised and fried onions. We enjoyed both very much and arrived at the table together and hot after just 20 minutes. We didn't have pizza or schnitzel with champion cream, but it also looked very good at the neighboring table. We can recommend the St. Urban with a very clear conscience!

Had dinner here today for the third time on this holiday. The first time without a reservation. After a short wait we got a place that day. We had reservations for the other two days and the table was always there. The two of us always had different things to eat and tried everything from schnitzel to pizza/pasta to Kaiserschmarn in the three evenings. General: It's a bit warm inside, but everything else is great. Nice atmosphere and also super nice staff/owner (Lukas and Emely were also great at serving them. Greetings 😁) The two of us ate with beer/wine and a bottle of water, always around €40. For the large portions, service etc. more than okay. Conclusion. If you are in Verdins it is absolutely a must to stop by. Reservation in the summer months is recommended, but it is also possible without it if there is a bit of a wait. When we're there again we'll come back

Ristorante disponibile fuori scena. Peccato che quando siamo entrati non ci ha detto subito che bisognava aspettare 1 ora per qualsiasi cosa tranne la pizza.. In quanto a cucinare sono solo in 2.. Per cui abbiamo preso una pizza.. La bambina voleva ordinare il the.. ma era finito.. Volevamo ordinare dei dolci era tutto finito tranne il tartufo.. La pizza alla fine non era così malvagia..
