WINO' In San vincenzo

Two words: fig risotto. Three words: just eat it. I’ll be dreaming of that risotto for years. Main course was fish of the day with veg. Fresh and simple as fish should be. Anita was a dream as a server and patient with my poor Italian. But we got the job done to eat one of the best meals we had in San Vincenzo.

Great experience! A varied menu that pleases everyone! I, a vegan, had a delicious vegan roast, and my companion said the fried fish and octopus were delicious! Great wine selection!

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress who was responsible for the terrace and inside. That wasn't so nice because we had to wait a long time before we could place an order.

Discovered this place while strolling through San Vincenzo. The positive reviews have been confirmed. Elegant and tastefully decorated. Interesting and delicious menu options. Excellent service. Thanks to the lady in the dining room for the wine recommendation. We tried the appetizers (Livorno-style octopus and creamed cod) and the fried calamari and shrimp; very good. 😋

The restaurant's quality is a bit above average in San Vincenzo. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming; the outdoor area is intimate and quiet, as is the indoor dining room. The service is very good; there was just a slight wait, which was justified by the carefully prepared dishes. The waitress seemed a bit "frowny," but she turned out to be friendly and helpful. I should add that we went with a one-and-a-half-year-old baby, and in quieter, more intimate places, this can be a bit questionable. I tried pappardella with wild boar ragù, gnocchi with octopus, and tuna steak with roasted vegetables. Everything was very good, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and excellent preparation. The availability of a couple of dishes was different from the menu (I had read about this, which was interpreted negatively in other reviews); I think making a change to the menu because the "refined" ingredients aren't readily available on a given day is a sign of customer care. The price reflects the quality but remains average for local restaurants; just a few cents more per dish, but nothing major. Highly recommended.
