So we chose you, Resturant Weisthaler, because we wanted to visit San Candido a bit. So we sat outside, because the temperature was very suitable for sitting outside, the tables had cushions and they did well to put them because otherwise the chair would have been very uncomfortable🪑. Anyway, I ordered a sausage🌭, with some fries🍟 along with a peach tea, thank goodness the tea was a decent brand at least this time. The thing I didn't like at all, is that we ended up at the table near the greenery so it was full of flies, and they were very annoying. The bathrooms were normal🚾🚽😌😃, and for me this restaurant deserves 3 stars😃💗🩷❤️✨⭐🌸.

Good service.
Fabulous pressed dumplings and spectacular cutlet.
The polenta with porcini mushrooms was also excellent, and you could tell they were very fresh.
Extensive wine list, spoiled for choice. Unfortunately, we didn't like the speck, which was very dry, and the cheese selection was meager in terms of quantity and type (four pieces, two of which were the same with a bloomy rind and two of which were similar to an Alpine cheese).
All in all, a good experience in the center of San Candido.

Since friends had raved about the quality of the food, we visited the restaurant during our stay in San Candido after making a reservation beforehand. We were seated in a small room with two tables decorated with interesting "ancestor photos" on the walls.
The service was very attentive and friendly. The bread basket was on the table as soon as we sat down. The food was excellent and more than plentiful. A true delight in both quality and taste. The prices are reasonable.
After dinner, we had the privilege of meeting the chef and junior manager of the house and enjoyed a pleasant conversation.
I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly return soon.
This time, we (my wife, three of our four children, two of our four grandchildren, and I) celebrated my birthday there. The food was fantastic, as always, and the service was friendly and helpful. Still highly recommended. Despite Ferragosto and a lot of stress, the service was friendly and polite. The food and drinks were a delight.

Based on my experience and that of my family, we found the location well-structured and organized. The staff were polite and professional. From my point of view, they are empathetic, which is an added value. I ordered a rosticciata, which was good but too strong in flavor. The fettuccine with venison ragù was something completely different. Finally, the dessert was spectacular: a delicious blueberry tiramisu, which was recommended to me by a friendly waitress. I simply thank her for having made me enjoy such a delicious dessert. Based on my experience, I feel like recommending them. Well done, keep it up, see you next time.

The ambiance and the attitude of the staff here suggest a high-class restaurant. Unfortunately, despite the high prices, the portions were rather meager, and the manager was downright unfriendly. Only after repeatedly pointing out that we wanted to pay was the folder with the bill slammed down on our table and then left. I then put the money in as accurately as possible and we left. I'm not aware of having done anything negative.

We had a mixed platter of beef goulash with dumplings and Tyrolean rosti.
Everything was very good and plentiful. I also saw some very interesting tagliatelle, which I'll try next time.
The price was moderately high (we paid €72 for the dishes, plus a medium beer, a bottle of water, and a grappa), but given the quality, portions, and location, it was all right.
It's best to book.
