White Pony In Sanremo

A very charming trattoria, located in the Sanremo hinterland. Parking is hard to find. Highly recommended rostelle, fabulous lamb chops. Delicious, classic desserts. Good value for money.

We went with several friends to this restaurant, located near the Sanremo equestrian center. We ordered pizza (very good) and Abruzzo arrosticini. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

We've been going to the White Pony for several years now, and it's always a pleasure. The staff is beyond welcoming and helpful, with a real family atmosphere. The meat is exceptional, probably some of the best we've ever tasted, and the prices are very reasonable. Maybe not the best pizza or the best rostelle in Sanremo, but it remains an excellent place to eat without spending a lot of money.

I learned about this place through some friends who go there regularly to eat rostelle. When I asked if we'd only be eating rostelle, they said no, making sure to point out that whatever they make, it's all delicious. And I'm delighted to admit they were right. Excellent pizza, delicious meat, excellent fries, and the torta della nonna is something indescribable. I also want to say a few words about the chocolate ice cream. It may seem silly, but I can assure you it's not, since just two nights earlier at another restaurant, the chocolate ice cream tasted like nothing and was frozen. This one, however, was delicious; I really enjoyed it.
