06/12/2025: I often frequent Da Andrea, but last night confirmed once again why this place is one of my absolute must-visit spots in Cattolica. You don't just come here to eat: you come to experience an authentic tradition, made up of typical local products, seasonal ingredients, and an increasingly rare hospitality.
Andrea is always present and alert, the soul of the place, the guardian of knowledge that tells the story of his family and the city. Just look up at the walls and you'll find, in his parents' photographs, a Cattolica that no longer exists but lives on in the flavors of the dishes. And it's precisely this continuity, this deep connection with the past, that makes the experience unique.
The menu is a journey through tradition: from the extraordinary chickpea soup to the ever-present gnocchi with ragù, from stuffed calamari to meatballs with mashed potatoes, and other great classics prepared with a care that is evident in every bite. Meat or fish, you can't go wrong here: everything is excellent, authentic, and prepared with full respect for historic recipes.
Last night, Valentina, the perfect hostess, welcomed us. It's clear that Andrea has conveyed his great customer service: attentive, smiling, and always present without being intrusive. Impeccable management makes dinner even more enjoyable.
My compliments to the entire staff. Keep up the good work: you're one of the most beautiful assets in Cattolica.
