Wasabi In Torino

We were truly satisfied with our experience. The ambiance is meticulously designed and exudes an authentic Japanese atmosphere: tatami mats, simple furnishings, and waiters in traditional dress make everything very evocative and coherent. As for the food, we found everything to be excellent: fresh and well-prepared sushi, light and crispy tempura, well-executed. You can sense the attention to quality and presentation. The only small complaint about the desserts: the mochi seemed a bit dry, less convincing than the rest of the menu. Overall, however, a very pleasant experience that we recommend, especially to those looking not only for good food but also for an atmosphere that truly takes you on a journey.

Family dinner last night... everything was delicious, from the small welcome plate of tofu in dashi broth to the sushi, panko-battered tuna sashimi, and dessert. I chose the vegetarian menu, and it was excellent...the gyoza were exceptional. The staff were very kind, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Highly recommended.

At Wasabi, your taste buds will thrill and delight in authentic cuisine, with a focus on quality and seasonality. A very friendly and knowledgeable sommelier served us excellent sake. The atmosphere is welcoming and offers a nice dose of miyabi.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner, and for one evening we felt transported to Japan! The location is very intimate and quiet, with the option of dining at traditional tables or on tatami mats (I recommend the latter for a more authentic experience). The food is EXCELLENT! We had two tasting menus, one of which was the chef's own creation, and it was a wonderful experience! The fish was fresh, and all the dishes were as good as the traditional dishes we've had the opportunity to try on our trip to Japan. The quality/price ratio is excellent. The staff is all welcoming, kind, and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Wasabi is gone... Wasabi is back! Change of management after over 30 years, there was a bit of apprehension... The quality has remained unchanged (very high), with excellent raw materials. The menu has been slightly reworked, more traditional, let's say. The meat gyoza was absolutely top-notch! Glad I didn't leave and say, how good the food was at Wasabi! Definitely worth returning.

It's now a must-visit for an authentic experience of true Japanese cuisine, starting with the traditional, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere and the extremely courteous and humble staff. I recommend exploring the entire menu and its various offerings (the alcohol selection is also truly remarkable). I find it allows everyone to customize their dining experience based on their tastes and needs, even with variations and off-menu options, and the staff can expertly guide customers in their choices. Recommended dishes: fried eggplant, sashimi (any dish with raw fish is truly exceptional given the quality of the fish), wagyu (an authentic experience with perfect cooking), fried tofu, fried chicken, and an original and varied dessert menu. The menu offers dishes with varying price ranges that reflect the impeccable quality of the ingredients and the preparations, which demonstrate the research and authenticity of the experience of true Japanese cuisine. Probably the best in Turin.

A very intimate restaurant with a family atmosphere that we appreciated. The menu features a varied selection of traditional dishes made with the highest quality ingredients. The sashimi is incredibly fresh and generous in portions. Must-try dishes include: sashimi, fried tofu, eggplant, and wagyu. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a try for a quality Japanese experience.
