Simply the best sushi in Turin. From the intimate setting with the option of dining on the tatami mat, to the service—true Japanese people are super friendly and accommodating, kneeling in their traditional attire—to the food, an explosion of authentic tastes and flavors. All accompanied by an excellent bottle of sake. We had the wasabi menu, featuring the freshest sashimi, meat dumplings you could throw on the floor, and a selection of nigiri, each one better than the last. Superlative!!!

A welcoming, private, and quiet place, with excellent ingredients, carefully prepared and beautiful dishes, discreet and attentive staff, and everything very good. Reasonable prices, but in my opinion the wines are a bit pricey. A positive experience, I'll definitely return.

Japanese Restaurant Review: Too Many Expectations, What a Shame! Too many rave reviews and too high expectations... a real shame. This place is incredibly famous here in Turin, considered one of the best Japanese restaurants in the city. The atmosphere is truly charming; as soon as you enter, you immediately feel the Japanese atmosphere, aided by the tatami mats in one area. The menu is compact and easy to navigate, although the selection is perhaps a bit too extensive. We tried a bit of everything, but we weren't entirely satisfied. The sushi was decent, but we expected more. The fish chirashi was good. The temaki were more problematic: seaweed was tough, thick, and stringy. The vegetable tempura was balanced, tasty, and well-fried. We, however, disliked the pork tonkatsu and okonomiyaki. The former had tough, stringy meat and was not particularly well-fried. The latter wasn't particularly good. The desserts? Okay, nothing exceptional. Overall, the place is nice and the atmosphere is there, but we expected more from the food, especially given its reputation.

The food is simply delicious, prepared with great attention to quality and presentation. Each dish is a small masterpiece. The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and helpful, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Same owner as Miyabi, same great food. Friendly and fast service for great dishes: sashimi and tonkatsu the best. The sakes are also great. Nice that you can eat on the tatami.

We went to Wasabi last December to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't have made a better choice! Everything is taken care of down to the smallest details, from the location to the food, and when you enter it really feels like you're in Japan. Everything reflects the culture of this country: the tatami on which you walk strictly without shoes, the wooden tables and the kimono of the employees. As for the food, we chose to try their menu, with several courses, including dessert, to try more dishes. Everything is delicious, from the first to the last course, and the quality of the food is truly high. I hope to return soon!

Going to Wasabi, a historic Japanese restaurant in Turin, is a taste experience of Japanese cuisine. The sushi is well-made, good in flavor and combinations. Soy sauce to be used sparingly so as not to cover the taste of the food. The grilled gyoza and the final dessert are also excellent. The price is higher than average but in line with the quality of the food. The possibility of sitting on a tatami without shoes also makes everything more pleasant and welcoming. Totemo oishikatta!

Thank you that there is still a restaurant run by Japanese and this is a great fortune, I hope that the 30-year legacy of the old managers is not lost because it was absolute excellence.
