We took Google's advice without looking too much at the menus or anything else, we just looked at the scores and I must say that we did very well to choose this restaurant, excellent service, exquisite food and a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, absolutely nothing negative to say, except compliments to all the staff

Wasabi is one of the oldest and most historic Japanese restaurants in Turin. Despite this, it's our first time there, for my girlfriend's birthday, and we had high expectations.
Beautiful setting and a welcoming atmosphere. Management and service are handled by a man and a woman (she's a Japanese native, having been here for a year and speaks divine Italian considering her short time).
The tatami menu is lovely; you obviously have to take your shoes off, and for us Westerners, it immediately reminds us of the Far East.
Since it's our first time, we dare to try a tasting menu so we can let the chef guide us, and I also pair the sake menu.
The point is, everything is fine, but nothing stands out! The quality of the ingredients is good, but nothing special.
Some interesting dishes, but again, nothing special. Honestly, I was a little disappointed by the raw fish and the grilled salmon, which I think anyone could make. The only dish I save is the sturgeon. An unusual offering, well thought out and well executed.
From what we've both experienced, the overall proposal seems a bit pricey. Prices should be 20% lower (and that's no small thing)... Or, perhaps better, raise the bar and bring everything up to par with the budget.
It's worth recommending, but not overly so. Sorry.

Really good, with impeccable service and a very polite and friendly owner. Today was my son's birthday party, and they even offered a cake. An unforgettable experience.

I finally managed to go to a real Japanese restaurant in Turin: the atmosphere, the location, the owner/chef were truly authentic. The food was delicious: we tried several items from the tasting menu plus a few à la carte additions. The waitress was extremely kind, in true Japanese style. For one evening, we felt like we were back in Tokyo. Unfortunately, the price isn't for every day, but we'll definitely be back.

We had a great time. I liked the quality of the dishes; at times they reminded me of my trip to Japan.
The only thing I personally didn't understand was the revisited mochi, opened and deconstructed on the plate. Everything was excellent.

Intimate location, suitable for couples or up to four friends. No families. Delicious food as always (even though they've changed management), super attentive service (thanks to Eleonora's professionalism). Recommended for those who want authentic Japanese food (quality, not quantity).

Simply the best sushi in Turin.
From the intimate setting with the option of dining on the tatami mat, to the service—true Japanese people are super friendly and accommodating, kneeling in their traditional attire—to the food, an explosion of authentic tastes and flavors. All accompanied by an excellent bottle of sake.
We had the wasabi menu, featuring the freshest sashimi, meat dumplings you could throw on the floor, and a selection of nigiri, each one better than the last.
Superlative!!!
