Great service, even the free shuttle!

We arrived late, without having booked and it was Saturday 20th July, so the place was overcrowded and the staff were very busy. We asked if they had a place for the two of us too. In less than ten minutes they settled us, fortunately inside, like this, in the cool and not under the umbrellas, under the scorching sun. The service was quick and precise and the dishes served were of excellent quality. The typical cured meats and cheeses on the platter are particularly good. The price is also good, aligned with the service and the dishes chosen. Thanks to all the staff. I recommend the refreshment to all tourists who, after seeing the Toce waterfall, go up to Lake Morasco.

I had lunch at the restaurant, as I often do when I go up to Riale (1740 m high). The place is enchanting, immersed in a large green valley in Alta Val Formazza, with a vast choice of outdoor tables in front of a very green meadow in summer and covered in snow in winter. The food is excellent and the local dishes are presented very well.

Very nice place, delicious food and very friendly staff

Place immersed in an enchanting place, far from the chaos of other mountain resorts. Mrs. Ramona welcomed us and always looked after us with a smile and profound kindness in an extremely well-kept and clean environment. Attention to detail, refined dishes, we were finally able to taste local foods. Fair prices considering the location and the altitude of 1,740m. Locally sourced Bettelmatt cheese is recommended.
