It's always a pleasure to come back, the very kind staff always finds us a table even if we don't book. The strong point is the children's playroom which allows parents to relax and enjoy excellent food. The choice is vast even for vegetarians. Big up!

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday and it looked newly renovated with a huge indoor games room. Unfortunately, we were immediately sent away at reception, with the reason: everything is fully booked, Sundays only with reservations. Too bad!

Touristenfalle… die Waldschenke kann nicht an den Glanz vergangener Tage anknüpfen. Auch Einheimischen empfehlen die Waldschenke nicht mehr! Spareribs schmecken nach gar nichts, Steak statt Medium zwei mal fast roh bekommen dazu noch hoffnungslos versalzen. Hühnchen und Haxe waren beide sehr trocken. Service für Südtiroler Verhältnisse unterirdisch.

09/03/2025: Wonderful staff, beautiful building, amazing brand new spa with a stunning view. A gem in Val Gardena.
15/02/2025: Lovely hotel where Karin and her team make you feel welcome and at home. Good breakfast and dinner and nice clean rooms with balcony and great views. EV charging and ski shuttle available.
