We stumbled upon a place that immediately won us over. We ate homemade tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, but the real surprise came with the strudel: definitely the best I've ever tasted.

A wonderful spot, beautiful views, and delicious food. Despite the steep climb from Tramin, it was absolutely worth it!

We stopped by spontaneously on our hike through the Rastenbach Gorge. The restaurant is tucked away from the village center. After a friendly welcome from the staff, we sat on the terrace. From there, you have a beautiful view of the village and the orchards. The menu selection was limited, but that didn't bother us at all. The homemade Schlutzkrapfen (scraps) are among the best I've ever had in South Tyrol. We'd love to come back!

Super delicious food with a great view and friendly service. A must-do in Kaltern! We had Schlutzkrapfen (a kind of ravioli) and tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms. It was sensational! You can taste the homemade food :) Absolutely fantastic!
