is close to numerous hiking trails and offers wonderful views of Überetsch. some parking spaces available. Nice restaurant and beautiful outdoor area also suitable as a children's playground. Small, fine menu mainly with regional specialties. good wine selection and our own schnapps. quick friendly service.

great restaurant in the middle of the vineyards near Altenburg. On our tour to the “Rastenbach Gorge” we stopped at the Waldschenke. We were rewarded with a great ambience and very good food. Very nice and friendly service.

12/11/2024: Location from another time. Truly evocative. Informal, efficient and accommodating service. I expected something more from the goulash (hard and not very tasty), but the rest was excellent. Rabbit.
10/11/2024: Old renovated farm, typical environment with typical South Tyrolean food with a wonderful smokehouse room. Absolutely worth trying! Very friendly and helpful staff.

19/03/2025: The place is large and beautiful. The staff are smiling and helpful. The pizza is delicious. The salad buffet is also delicious. It's worth a try and I hope you return.
13/03/2025: Came here for dinner with friends one evening. We all ordered pizza which came very fast with friendly staff! Large menu of pizza to choose from and pizza was excellent!! We also order the tiramisu for dessert which was also great. Would definitely visit again!
