07/10/2025: We went to this restaurant for a very special occasion. It was honestly just on the way to our next attraction. The pictures looked incredible. The menu also appealed to us. Accordingly, we decided to go there despite the somewhat meager four stars, unlike some other sushi restaurants in Florence.
When we arrived, we were the only customers in the restaurant. Accordingly, our orders were taken promptly.
Extremely friendly, attentive, and competent service.
We ordered edamame, harumaki, sake avocado, ura mango, salmon roll, crispy ebiten roll, and hosso fritto mango.
In my opinion, this was high-quality, tasty, and sumptuous sushi. The fish was definitely sashimi-quality. The rice was perfectly cooked—a game-changer. We eat sushi regularly and make our own. But this was definitely one of the best spots we've been to in recent years. It beats any hip Asian fusion restaurant in other big cities.
In my opinion, a diamond in the rough. We will definitely visit this restaurant again on our next visit to Florence.
Unfortunately, we didn't take too many pictures; we were far too hungry and the food was way too good.
A more modern presentation of the dishes (more Instagrammable) would definitely attract more customers. Personally, I think this food could have been served on a plastic plate, given the quality.
Thanks again! Good luck!
25/09/2025: I went to this restaurant with a colleague. I didn't want to leave the city center, so I stumbled upon it by searching on Google. When I arrived, my initial impression was rather disappointing. In my opinion, this is one of the smallest sushi restaurants I've seen; I personally prefer larger restaurants, especially if I'm bringing children. The food isn't bad, but the only downside is the limited selection.
