A spectacular venue in every way! The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and super helpful. The food? A dream: delicious dishes, super-fresh ingredients, and presentations worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. All at a truly fair price. An experience I recommend to everyone, and one I will definitely repeat. Kudos to the entire staff!

At Vota Vota in Marina di Ragusa, I found the food and wine to be truly excellent, with meticulous attention to presentation and the quality of the ingredients. The service is attentive, and the place is welcoming. However, in my opinion, the prices are excessive: you pay as if you were at a multi-starred restaurant, despite having one star, but without the full experience that would justify such prices. The food is good, yes, but the value for money could use some rethinking. The wait staff had half-updos. In a fine dining setting, neat ponytails or chignons should be worn to prevent hair from falling onto the plates.

Welcome and Service
The welcome was impeccable: friendly, attentive, and professional. The service was overall good, but there were a few details that could be improved. While picking up crumbs, the gesture was too hasty, so much so that some of them fell on me—a small incident that, in a setting of this caliber, should be avoided.
Furthermore, between the first and second courses, no one noticed that my wine glass was empty: I waited through the second course and finally had to serve myself. I understand that there was some bustle in the room, but this is still a fine-dining restaurant, where constant attention is expected, even during the busiest moments.
Cuisine
Appetizer
Excellent balance of ingredients and textures. A well-constructed and very enjoyable dish, which opened the meal harmoniously.
First Course – Smoked Spaghetti with Butter and Anchovies
A truly interesting dish. The smokiness was precisely measured: present, but never overpowering, leaving room for the delicacy of the other ingredients. I would have liked a stronger note from the anchovy, whose flavor was barely noticeable. The amount of sauce was slightly excessive, partially covering the seafood component of the dish.
Second Course – Cheek with celeriac and hazelnut puree
The meat was succulent, incredibly tender, and perfectly cooked. The pairing with the celeriac and hazelnut cream was interesting, but overall, the dish tended to lag in flavor and texture. A crunchy element—such as toasted hazelnuts or a wafer—could have provided the necessary contrast to make it truly memorable.
Desserts and Pastries
The dessert was excellent, elegant and well-balanced. The pastries served at the end were a delightful conclusion: well-stocked, carefully presented, and delicious.
Final Considerations
The bill was appropriate for the experience and the quality of the ingredients. Despite a few minor service hiccups, the overall experience was very positive. The cuisine is solid, with hints of true refinement. An experience worth repeating.

Alors, le cadre sur le bord de mer est en effet sympa, mais je reste sur ma faim sur l’expérience culinaire. Si on parle de restaurant étoilé, à un moment du repas je m’attends à un effet « Waouw », et je ne l’ai pas eu. Je n’ai pas trouvé d’identité dans la présentation des plats et les quantités sont limitées. Même pour le dessert où la tarte tatin aurait pu être plus généreuse. La cuisson est maîtrisée mais il m’a manqué quelque chose.
Et du coup j’ai trouvé en la note un peu salée.
Côté vins la carte tape fort, pas de demi-bouteilles et verre au vin qui démarre à 25€!
Bref, je suis passé à côté !

Un bel locale, elegante, con ampio spazio tra i tavoli e bellissima vista sulla passeggiata e lungomare. Accogliente, con una bella atmosfera che si viene a creare con il personale (tutti cortesi e disponibili). Il percorso gastronomico è d’eccellenza: abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione di 6 deliziose portate: menzione d’onore agli spaghetti con le alici, un piatto che rimarrà nella memoria tra i migliori piatti degustati. Complimenti ai due chef!

SI STELLARE. La location è meravigliosa vista mare, personale professionale, preparato ma mai distante. Empatico, divertente, accogliente, caloroso. Piatti curati, semplici ma è lì che si vede la bravura degli chef, nella semplicità che cela la complessità di una creazione. E poi in un ristorante stellato permettere la scarpetta è stato meraviglioso Meritano tutto il firmamento Michelin. Bravissimi tutti
