I was there for several days for work and I am grateful for the service and the food, everything was great and even though I didn't speak Italian I felt like I was in every place, the hospitality was excellent :)

Nel mio tour alla scoperta della migliore pasta alla carbonara di Latina diciamo che non si è classificato ai primissimi posti: forse c'era un po' troppo sale. Ma rimane un punto di riferimento, a Latina, per la cucina romana tipica delle fraschette, compresa una buona porchetta calda.

Prima volta in questo locale. Vedendolo dall'esterno non mi ispirava molto, ma una volta entrata ho trovato un luogo accogliente. La proprietaria gentilissima e molto simpatica. Piatti ottimi, anche se il pane che ci è stato servito con l'antipasto sembrava del giorno prima, o forse era stato tagliato e lasciato all'aria aperta, un dettaglio...,ma ci farei più attenzione. Prezzi buoni. Sicuramente ci tornerò

30/07/2024: Una location incantevole, incastonata tra ulivo e vigneti. Posto informale con una cucina onesta, di casa, gustosa e generosa. Cena su una terrazza con una vista incredibile, un tramonto da sogno. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia trascorrere una serata rilassante con buon cibo e buon vino.

31/01/2025: If Checkmate has existed for twenty years, there must be a reason. The place is very familiar, everyone is extremely kind. The food is very good, and Alberto is one of the nicest people I could meet in my life. Suitable for everyone, adults and children. GREAT ADVICE
28/12/2024: Comfortable and relaxing pub, good food and excellent beers all seasoned by the always affable and professional staff. The typical Roman pizza is average. I recommend the pico panco which is excellent for me. I recommend it.
