Voglia di.... In Polignano a mare

The Torre dell’Orologio is an elegant 18th-century building with a simple façade of light-colored stone, typical of Puglia. It is distinguished by a monumental clock positioned in the center of the façade, just above a row of windows with green shutters. Higher up, a niche houses a statue of San Vito, the city's patron saint, and the tower is topped by a bell tower, currently surrounded by scaffolding for restoration. Below the clock face, a Latin inscription evokes the civic and religious function of the site.
