We only had a quick drink in the square – and it was very pleasant. The view is truly beautiful, the seating comfortable and high-quality.
The service was friendly, and the drinks were cool and refreshing – just right for a short break.

I just wanted to have a quick bite to eat with my son. At our request, the food was served in portions. It tasted wonderful. If we are ever in Bolzano again, we will definitely go there again.

We were at Wirtshaus Vögele today without a reservation and managed to get a table even though the place was very busy.
The food and service were absolutely delicious.
We highly recommend this restaurant.

We spent an evening on the "terrace" at Wirtshaus Vögele. The seating is narrow in front of the restaurant, between the sidewalk and the pedestrian zone. The food was a bit on the expensive side, but of good taste and quality. What really bothered us in the end, however, and a little tip for future visitors: At the beginning, they ask if you would like a bottle of water. Yes, we did, or rather, my daughter and I did. My husband was also given a glass, even though he ordered a beer and not water. The bill included the bottle of water plus three €1.80 for the glasses. The bottle of water therefore cost us €10, which leaves a bitter aftertaste.

We've been there a few times and have been impressed every time. The quality of the food is excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. However, we highly recommend reserving a table, as many tables are already booked at lunchtime.
