Good food and service not excellent, shameful bathroom small not very clean but the serious thing is that it is not separated for men and women not even in trattorias does something like this happen, I don't know if I will return

Delightful restaurant where the quality of the dishes is as excellent as the service and friendliness of the staff. We really appreciated the finesse of the different plates we tasted and enjoyed our supper greatly.

Conviviale la location, buone le materie prime, piacevole l’impiattamento, efficiente il servizio e conto in linea con un ristorante di questo livello. Nota positiva: parcheggio gratuito a pochi metri dal locale. Da migliorare: non sempre tutti riescono a leggere il menù appeso al muro…magari avere anche un cartaceo (o un tablet) sarebbe cosa gradita. Da rifare sicuramente come esperienza.

I went to Viva Lo Re for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The Golden Mile, with its Vesuvian villas such as Villa Campolieto, is always worth a visit: it is a unique place that combines history, art and breathtaking landscapes. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with an intimate atmosphere and cheerful, attentive staff. The furnishings are meticulous in detail, as is the service, which is always courteous and helpful. The wine list is extensive, with a selection that highlights local products: excellent and more than honestly priced. I started with the “Lo Re” appetizer, an experience that varies every time. In my case, it included five tastings of sea and land, all well balanced and tasty. I then continued with a simple but surprising first course: a garlic and oil enriched with a parmesan fondue, perfectly executed. A lunch that was able to combine authentic flavors and great attention to detail. I will definitely come back.

Business lunch: ate very well, spent quite a bit but you eat as you spend (my grandmother said). We took an appetizer, two stuffed mullets and two bottles of water, spending 60 euros in total. I woke up wanting to come back, I definitely recommend it.
