Nice hotel, however a warning for potential guests. Outside of the grand suites, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. Our room was below the grand suite level and we could hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms. Our room was carpeted, however the suite room much not be because we could hear every footstep and every time a chair moved. Also the room temperatures are very hard to control. Our room was unbearably hot. It’s hard to sleep with the windows open because the bugs. So its a balance of being hot or having bugs. I’m sure there are some room that are worth it, but I would suggest doing your research before booking here. We loved the location, just wish we had a better room experience.

Venice was our second stop in Italy, and we couldn’t have been happier with this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spread across two levels, with a large, modern bathroom that made our stay extra comfortable. The location was also fantastic—everything we needed was close by.
One of the highlights was discovering two incredible cicchetti spots just steps from the hotel. We tried a few places throughout Venice, but the ones next door had the best flavors and the most reasonable drink prices.
While the breakfast didn’t include hot items like eggs, everything offered was fresh and delicious—especially the croissants and baked goods.
Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Venice!

The hotel itself was lovely—charming decor, a fantastic location just outside San Marco, and truly exceptional staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Unfortunately, we did encounter a significant issue with our room. Although the hotel advertises air conditioning, we were informed that it wasn’t functioning in our room. This left us with no option but to keep the windows open at night, which resulted in an uncomfortable stay due to mosquito bites. It was disappointing, especially given the otherwise high quality of the hotel. With that issue resolved this place would be a top choice for future visits.

We spent three nights and we felt home. Our suite was beautiful, large with tasteful ceiling.
The staff was classy and very helpful.
A special thank you to Alvisse, the concierge who was a large part of our review: grazzie mille Alvisse.

Hotel worth staying for the size of its rooms and all the professional and competent staff that works there. The restaurant inside is interesting because the quality of the products is the result of careful research by the Chef who presents dishes that are certainly spectacular in taste and aesthetics.

Excellent Hotel, great and very friendly service and staff.
Especially the restaurant La Bauta is one of the best in Venice as well as on an international scale. We have been extremely pleased by the dishes and the whole team as well as the waiter Giacomo who is one of the best of its kind. We have been very impressed by his professionalism as well his great ability to add a personal touch so that we look forward to come back and to be guests in this restaurant over and over again. This has
been one of the best discoveries in Venice over the last years. Thanks again!!

We’ve spent pleasant days in Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace, specially because they gave us an upgrade to a very large room called Mocenigo Junior Suite (65㎡) which has a living room, huge bathroom and even a balcony with a small table.
It is very well located near the Accademia vaporetto station to the north, already inside the Grand Canal, and Zaccaria to the south. Beautifully decorated with antique furniture and Murano chandeliers of old and modern styles. It has a room with small exhibits of modern art.
Be advised that the breakfast is not a buffet, at least in our stay in low season January. A waiter will take your order from a menu. It takes about 30min from sitting until you get your order delivered. They will serve you pastries right away though. This method makes the whole process take longer, which is not bad, unless you are scheduled to some tour or meeting. We used this relaxing time to admire the seagulls in the hotel garden.
I would definitely stay in Nani Mocenigo Palazzo again.
