Interno del locale molto carino!! Buono il crostino Virginiae e i fiori di zucca!! Idem gli spaghetti cacio e pepe!! Tutto servito in piatti super colorati! Complimenti a Silvano x simpatia ed empatia!!

Super tasty food and friendly service, authentic cuisine, definitely recommended

What a gem. Located just off a bustling street with lots of eating places and gelato this place kicks goals. The food was very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. Salads were excellent. Bruschetta mix great. The chicken excellent as was meatballs. But our highlight was the tiramisu. Best we had tasted. Staff were very friendly and welcoming but not pushy. Service was prompt not rushed. All up one of the best meals we had in Rome. We were walk-ins about 1930 but restaurant quickly filled and reservations probably a good idea.

Service was amazing, so relaxed and not pressuring (compared to other places). Pasta dishes were one of the best ones we’ve had during our trip. Both carbonara and gricia pasta dishes had perfect big chunks of amazingly crispy pork cheeks, absolutely delicious. Big portions!

A must-visit on every trip to Rome! Over the years, Ristorante Virginiae has become our favorite place in Rome. Every time we visit the Eternal City, we return with the same pleasure—and it's always a joy! We always sit on the terrace, where the atmosphere is relaxed, warm, and typically Roman. A big thank you to Silvano, our favorite server, who is simply perfect: funny, attentive, friendly, and always with good advice. He contributes greatly to making the experience unique and memorable. The food is delicious, authentic, and generous. Among our favorites: Bruschetta miste della casa, Caprese with buffalo mozzarella, Crostino alla Virginiae (a must-try, it's delicious!), Spaghetti alla carbonara, Ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage (our favorite dish, which we order every time!), Pollo alla romana con peperoni (delicious and meltingly tender). This restaurant combines everything we're looking for: quality, consistency, hospitality, and a true Roman soul. A big congratulations to the entire team. We'll be back again and again!

This little place was recommended by our hotel and it was a very pleasant restaurant. The oven baked lamb was good and the chicken excellent. Nice friendly staff and lovely traditional decor.
