This is my favorite restaurant in Rome. Been there many times. Love the authentic Roman cuisine. Refined atmosphere without being stuffy. Lasagna and veal Saltimbocca are the best. Salvano is our waiter and we ask for him every time. What a sweetheart! He makes Virginiae special!

This is our favorite restaurant in Rome. We have dined here many times. It is easy to book a table online without having to call to make a reservation. There wasn't a dish we didn't like. We have dined as a couple, with friends, and with our extended family visiting us. Our favorites include the must-have lasagna and anything with oxtail. I had talglialle with oxtail ragu. I still dream about it. The staff greets us very kindly, and since I booked it the same way, they recognize us. They make us feel important and valued. They serve the best variations of the tastiest Roman pasta dishes, and you will not go wrong ordering them. While other restaurants are tourist traps, the Virginiae is authentic and a must-visit when in Rome.

At Virginiae, it was a fantastic experience! The amatriciana was delicious, among the best I've ever had: flavorful, balanced, and perfectly cooked. The other dishes we tried were also truly excellent; you could taste the quality and care put into the cooking. Special mention goes to Silvano, who is incredibly friendly and welcoming: he makes you feel at home and makes the experience even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back—highly recommended!
