We were in Rome for 2 days and we always had dinner in this excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful waiters, top food... honest price for the excellent quality of the food...

Discovered by chance several years ago, it is now our point of reference for our walks in the centre. Beautiful location, excellent Roman cuisine, with a special mention for the baked lamb with potatoes and the osso bucco with porcini mushrooms, superb. Very kind staff, with the good Silvano always friendly and smiling.

I made a reservation and visited according to the opening time, and by the time I ate, it was fully booked. I ordered pasta, lamb, etc. and it was delicious.

This little place was recommended by our hotel and it was a very pleasant restaurant. The oven baked lamb was good and the chicken excellent. Nice friendly staff and lovely traditional decor.

I’ve eaten at many excellent restaurants in Rome. This is the best one. Food and service are out of this world. Try the carbonara and osso buco. Silvano has been doing this 45 years.

05/05/2025: One of the best pizzas we had in Rome - definitely was worth the long waiting outside! Staff was nice, and food came quickly, although they were completely full. Prices for this class of restaurant very reasonable, pizza 10-15 euro, and a liter of water only 2 Euro. We were happy and would definitely return.

23/04/2025: A truly authentic Roman trattoria, the kind that’s getting hard to find these days. Home-style cooking with real simple flavours and fair portions. Prices are very fair, making it a great spot to eat well without spending a fortune. It’s located on a busy road, but once you’re inside, you forget all about the traffic. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and food that tastes just like home. I’ll definitely be coming back!
