Viola Espressobar In Siracusa

This is a must if you ever visit Ortigia (Siracusa). The people are lovely, the latte macchiato is the best me and my wife have tasted world wide. The gelato is a dream and to top it all off the pastries are unbelievably good. We visit every morning and it just gets better. Check out the price list..:it is stupidly cheap.

Purple coffee has always been home. Very kind and super helpful staff. Excellent coffee, desserts and ice creams. An obligatory stop for anyone passing by Corso Matteotti.

Friendly little cafe with very good espresso and fantastic Bacio di pistacchio, Bacio die nocciola and Nutella cakes. The crema caffè was also very tasty.

Este es un lugar maravilloso. Muy buen café. Dulces aún mejores. Y el personal es maravilloso, educado y lleno de alegría - se despiertan uno mejor que el café. No sé de qué se trata esa gente que se queja del servicio grosero. Me gustaría darles el beneficio de la duda y decir que quizás no estaban acostumbrados a la energía siciliana al hablar. Pero lo más probable es que no se usaran turistas con derecho a ladrar al personal en inglés, y cuando no se entienda, ladrarlo más fuerte - como he visto muchas muchas veces en mis viajes, desafortunadamente.

Nice place with a particular shape that recalls the style of when it was born. Perhaps a little small inside but with an external space that allows you to place a sufficient number of tables. The location on the street is pleasant.

Beautiful building and location. Staff are very friendly and the places is always packed. The gelato is sweet and sticky and very average, which was a disappointment as I had really high hopes for this place.
