Not only farinata (which is truly unsurpassed and with lots of different fillings available), but also delicious typical dishes of Ligurian cuisine. Rustic atmosphere as expected in a classic Savona tavern

Il locale è storico ma la qualità del cibo è peggiorata La farinata è troppo spessa e non cotta Ci hanno servito un trancio di pesce al forno senza sapore e di colore grigio Unica cosa buonissima è ananas E un peccato ! trovate qualcuno che migliori la cucina e che sia capace a cuocere la farinata

Authentic place, not therefore stripped away. For the farinata I recommend ordering plenty of it, it's difficult to order more given the oven times; the white (wheat) version typical of Savona is excellent, also suitable for those who don't like the classic chickpea version. Fairly honest prices.

We stopped for lunch and to try the wheat flour. Really good and well prepared We tried it both with stracchino (filling ok) and with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella (filling a little poor) We also took baked peppers (very good) and courgettes and grilled vegetables (very poor) I found the bill a little high compared to the quantities

Il posto dei ricordi. Sono savonese , tanti bei ricordi un questo posto che mantiene il fascino e la qualita ‘ di sempre. Non fate caso ai commenti negativi di clienti che non conoscono la storia questo locale che e’ cosi’ da piu di 50 anni , con un menu’ di piatti della tradizione Ligure e prettamente Savonese !

Historic place therefore it must be evaluated from this perspective very clean even if quite spartan but the food is excellent both all types of farinata but also stuffed anchovies mixed fried food and much more it is really worth waiting for your turn to sit down and really eat good at still modest prices

They treated us very kindly and there was a girl who spoke Spanish. The farinata al pesto was very good and the beers from there were also very good.

21/01/2025: Attracted by the location and the tasteful decor of the place, we stopped for dinner. Well presented dishes but the quality does not coincide with the high prices of a typical fish restaurant..
05/01/2025: In the company of friends who had previously been to this place, ... on Saturday 4th January. we had an excellent fish-based lunch accompanied by a delicious Prosecco.....friendly and kind staff, a small but very welcoming place....We will return to try the rest of the menu.....Highly recommended .....

L'Osteria di San Lorenzo

05/01/2025: Typical restaurant of the early Ligurian hinterland. Advised!
20/10/2024: Perfect service, cuisine, welcome. In a quiet atmosphere, as the chef would say, worthy of Liguria. Everything is very good, it's not pretentious and very well cooked. We will definitely come back on our next visit from France!
