Incredible farinata with classia Italian vibes and a laid back feel. Good wine, fish, and pastas but do not leave without getting the farinata!

We went to this place because it was recommended to us. Very hot and poorly ventilated environment. Helpful staff, but not very welcoming. Large portions, very good and well priced, shame about the farinata being a bit raw.

After a long time I returned to eat farinata in Savona, obviously the one with chickpea flour. The service is good, now you only go by reservation: on the one hand it's fair even if the tradition of waiting in line was memorable!

Tutto buono, antipasti, farinata di ogni genere e primi ottimi, peccato per l'ora abbondante di attesa per far uscire 8 agognati fritti misti. Denota una organizzazione da rafforzare, a meno che non fosse pensato per farci bere le 6 bottiglie di vinello della casa, quello si veloce ad arrivare quanto mediocre sin dal primo bicchiere! Complimenti comunque.

Assolutamente da provare la Farinata su base di grano farcita prosciutto cotto. Il locale vanta una lunga storia. Ottima esperienza.

Trattoria Piemontese

26/06/2025: If, by chance, you find yourself on holiday in Western Liguria near Finale, it may be worth considering a short incursion into the hinterland to get to know the cuisine of the Locanda Piemontese. We are in the village of Calice, in one of the central squares, and the trattoria immediately presents itself as welcoming, with rooms on multiple levels and a small but comfortable outdoor area. The atmosphere is extremely hospitable and there is a fair selection of Ligurian and Piedmontese specialties, all well interpreted: special mention for the Ligurian-style rabbit and the fresh pasta. A rich selection of desserts to finish, with a bunet to remember not only for the abundance of the portion, but also for its qualitative value.
