One more opportunity to stop in Ormea via Colle di Nava. Great sandwiches and super cakes.

Very welcoming place with a nice mountain atmosphere, the staff is discreet and unobtrusive. The specialty is the countless homemade cakes... a true taste experience to absolutely try, as are the rich sandwiches. The cellar is rich, with very high quality wines even by the glass. The only flaw is the opening hours... it closes really too early in the evening, too bad it would have HUGE potential. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Bar at the beginning of the pedestrian area: they have amazing homemade cakes. I tried the freshly baked lemon one, 10 and praise.

We arrived at 11.40 and ordered two sandwiches. The gentleman at the counter tells us that they don't prepare sandwiches until 12. It's absurd!
