Dining at Villa Vecchia 1865 is an experience that truly reconnects you with the world. More than entering a restaurant, you feel like you're crossing the threshold of an enchanted greenhouse or a secret botanical garden in the heart of the city. Ferns hanging from the ceiling, lush monsteras separating the tables, ivy climbing the walls, and warm, soft lighting make the atmosphere incredibly intimate, fresh, and relaxing. But the real magic begins when the pizza arrives. The quality is top-notch: highly hydrated dough and a very long leavening, with a honeycombed crust, fragrant and light as a cloud. I tried one of their specials, the Ciuffettina, baby calamari on a squid ink sauce with touches of potato rosti—a gourmet journey. Top-quality ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The service also deserves an honorable mention: Signora Giuliana! The staff is cheerful, highly trained, and capable of managing the place with an infectious smile despite it being packed. A one-of-a-kind place, where meticulously crafted aesthetics meet the true art of pizza making. A well-deserved five-star rating: it's officially become our new favorite.

Very beautiful place, especially the main room, with all those beautiful, healthy plants 🤩 The staff is young, efficient, kind, and friendly, so much so that the wait for the food is really minimal. We only had the specialty pizzas, and they were all very good. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning, which makes the place a bit warm, despite the many fans, but it's still worth a visit.

Kindness, courtesy, and helpfulness are what you can feel. The location is stunning, magical, and romantic. Everything is beautiful and incredibly delicious. The staff is always very friendly, the pizza is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Everyone we've brought has been happy with the food, but even more so with the atmosphere.
