Giovanni made our stay especially enjoyable. What an asset to your hotel. Went above and beyond to show us your hotel, your town, and the local culture. Food at the hotel was exceptional. Other staff were also friendly and welcoming.

It seems to have returned to the Middle Ages, stone structure, very well kept, the internal spaces have been kept as they were originally, every detail well taken care of. Friendly staff, excellent food, beautiful view, truly a great discovery! As for the rooms I can't say anything since we only had dinner.

We stayed one night just to break up the return journey from Umbria to Sicily. The place is convenient because 10 minutes from the Salerno/Reggio motorway, you don't expect a town full of life because Athens Lucana is a small village with something to see but really small. Certainly a town rich in history and traditions, with the church of San Ciro, the patron saint and some characteristic streets especially in the evening. The rooms are quite comfortable, clean and quiet, but the very ancient structure shows itself. The restaurant is discreet and convenient for those who don't want to travel, affordable prices, the girls liked the pizza a lot, good appetizers, risottos that definitely need to be improved a little, decent breakfast. Overall comfortable but I wouldn't go back. Parking on the street next to the structure, unattended and with 5 parking spaces reserved for customers.
