The place is truly beautiful: you can experience the balance between past and present, held together by good taste and an ever-appreciated, attentive touch of humanity. Villa Matilde is certainly a place not only to visit, but to return to. The food is delicious and perfectly in tune with the local area; the service is always attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. The wine is certainly high-quality and exceptional. There are many noteworthy aspects, but, above all, many that make the difference: the Chef, Alfonso; Alessia in the dining room, Miriam, with her warm attention. Special thanks to Maria Cristina and Maria Ida Avallone, who expertly maintain the legacy and perspective of a history that has undoubtedly contributed to enhancing the value and culture of Campania's winemaking. Fantastic experience... We did a tasting and tour of the vineyards and cellars with Miriam, a wonderful person, very knowledgeable and kind. A quiet place, I highly recommend it.

Villa Matilde was the ideal setting for my birthday. Professional and attentive hospitality, excellent food, and a relaxing atmosphere. A tour of the cellars introduced us to the magical world of winemaking, an excellent gem of Campania. I thank Mrs. Avallone, who honored us with her presence, Mrs. Miriam, the great chef Alfonso, and Francesco. We brought some wines from the well-stocked wine cellar with us to renew the memory of a magnificent experience at home.

Winery with a comfortable atmosphere, quality products, medium-high prices

We visited yesterday for an aperitif at the Villa Matilde estate. The always elegant welcome of Dr. Avallone, the dishes of Chef De Luca, and the helpfulness of maître d' Miriam Campoli convey the beauty of the place. Thank you for a wonderful evening, always recommended!

We stayed two nights with my husband and our dog. An enchanting place and excellent wine. The tastings and tours of the winery and vineyard were passionately explained. We were welcomed by the owner, her daughter, and all the staff with such kindness and professionalism. Thank you for making us feel at home.

We stayed for two nights during the weekend, Mrs. Ida Maria, her daughter and all the staff were very welcoming and professional, well-kept outdoor environment, the room simple but spacious. We had breakfast and dinner at the property, good dishes with an excellent choice on the menu, finally the highlight of the property was the visit to the cellars with wine tasting, even though I don't drink I was fascinated by the explanation of Mrs. Ida Maria who passionately illustrated their activity to us. The property is a few kilometers from the sea which can be reached easily. Recommended
