Villa Inglese In Picinisco

I was a guest at this restaurant for a birthday. I honestly expected something different considering that in Ciociara, wherever you go, you eat well and in abundance. Unfortunately I only noticed the gourmet cuisine when we started lunch. Nothing irreparable, but I don't feel like recommending it to anyone who loves home-made (and plentiful) cooking like me.

Absolutely outstanding! The atmosphere and service were top-notch. The food quality here is truly exceptional, every dish tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The ingredients were high-quality, the staff were friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Chef Ben provided us with a thoughtful and interesting overview of the local ingredients and his meal preparation for each impressive dish, and his wine recommendations were spot on. The location in Picinisco overlooking the valley below is quite breathtaking. We stayed at Villa Inglese B&B and ultimately ended up having three stellar meals during our stay. Highly recommended.

We had two wonderful meals whilst staying at Villa Inglese. Both meals were of an exceptional quality and we were blown away by the local produce that Ben and the team utilise, including the local wines that were recommended to us. Fantastic service from all of the team as well as beautiful views across the valley. We’ll definitely be returning

Gourmet dinner with the maximum explosion of flavours, the summer chicken is my favourite, and don't miss the bread at the table, it's sublime. Unique environment, stellar staff. Congratulations

Villa Inglese is a delightful place, intimate and full of atmosphere....few tables, excellent service, very interesting menu....you feel pampered from start to finish...a little gem in the local restaurant scene

We visited this restaurant whilst staying in the area as it was recommended - it certainly didn’t disappoint! The service was impeccable from our waitress and the head chef, Ben, served several courses to us and spoke to us at the end of our meal to check we enjoyed ourselves. Delicious, wide range of food using local produce designed as a tasting menu. It may have been a little pricier in comparison to other restaurants in the area but don’t let this deter you as it is very much worth it. Would highly recommend!

I was invited by family members to this restaurant and I was sceptical from the beginning when i saw the menu online. When booking on the phone i was guaranteed that there would be no problems to arrange food for a vegetarian. As a vegetarian (more specifically pescatarian) I did not feel welcome. I basically got the same dishes as the others with the meat being removed from the dish. When I raised my concern to the chef, he said that I could not expect more from a restaurant on the mountains. If you are vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, don’t go there, or ask for the menu in advance.
