What can I say on Fridays, seafood salad, and mixed frying, on other days breaded cutlets, Oscar-worthy, generally larger than the plate, and digested immediately, well done, everything OK.

The food is good, the wiener schnitzel excellent; mixed service, at the table, good, and self service. In winter, the external environment is closed with sheets and heated with flame heaters, which however are not sufficient, in my opinion, to obtain a temperature suitable for eating.

Restaurant of Seehotel

05/03/2025: We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 4 nights. The room was very comfortably furnished and super clean. The hotel is right on the lake. The kitchen...a dream!...we have rarely eaten so well, and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The manager of the house is very friendly and nice, and all the staff looked after us with professionalism and warmth. The spa area is very well maintained and stylishly furnished. We felt completely at home and will definitely come back.
22/02/2025: We had a wonderful week here. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a beautiful view. All of the employees were consistently friendly and had a refreshing warmth - you really feel at home here. It's definitely worth booking the half board, you had a great menu selection and all the dishes were lovingly presented. Even at breakfast nothing was left to be desired. We've already stayed in a few accommodations here in the region and the Seehotel is definitely our number 1. Thank you very much and we'll be happy to come back!

Gasthof Restaurant Jager

27/02/2025: Culinary surprise at 929 meters altitude The Gasthof Jäger is a family-run mountain inn with a beautiful guest garden and game reserve high above Nalles. Snacks and traditional South Tyrolean regional cuisine, consisting mainly of home-made products, are offered there at moderate prices. The location and the view are sensational. Hikers, bikers and road trippers come here to take a break. Up to this point, the inn is one of the typical good South Tyrolean restaurants that score points with their location and authentic traditional cuisine. But in addition to the rustic snack cuisine, the young chef Guntmar Öttl presents creative, aromatic gourmet cuisine that would be a credit to any star restaurant. He learned his trade in top international gastronomy and if you follow his CV, you will come across many well-known names in the Michelin star league. He describes his cuisine on the inn's beautiful website: "Bacon meets truffles" - and thus reduces the unique kitchen concept to the point. But the culinary and aromatic spectrum that the chef creates with his creative seasonal cuisine is sensational! A firework of taste and an artistic combination of the familiar and the creative. The potato dumplings with a filling of fresh chanterelles were a tasty change after all the Schlutzer. The stuffed zucchini blossom in a tuna coating brought an unknown combination of flavors to the palate - a highly creative interpretation of a classic. The char fillet in the artichoke stock impressed with its first-class quality and freshness - the texture and aromas were great culinary cinema! My favorite was the low-temperature cooked, super-tender beef shoulder with bread dumpling soufflée and chard. The meat melted in your mouth and the sauce was a masterpiece in terms of taste and consistency. And I must emphasize again: You are in a family-run mountain inn and not in a trendy gourmet restaurant that is mostly visited by visitors with the red gourmet bible under their arm. The friendly Öttl family serves guests with warm South Tyrolean hospitality. The price/performance ratio is sensationally good: snacks, South Tyrolean regional cuisine and fine dining at normal local prices. Conclusion: The Gasthof Jäger is a must for foodies and gourmets. It is also ideal for families with children. Because when the parents are enjoying themselves, the little ones can play in the garden and watch the deer in the enclosure. For us, it is a culinary highlight of every South Tyrol trip.
