Excellent food and very high quality, given the freshness of the ingredients. I recommend the spaghetti with sea urchins, truly excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent seafood dinner on a private terrace, perfect for Roman evenings.

We chose to celebrate our anniversary at VII Coorte—a perfect choice. Just outside the tourist bustle of Trastevere, the warm welcome immediately puts you at ease. A truly beautiful location, with an intimate terrace furnished with simplicity and elegance, ideal for an anniversary or romantic dinner. The menu and wine list are immediately overwhelming with their variety. From appetizers to main courses, everything is delicious; the ingredients are of the highest quality (you can tell by the freshness and flavor of the crudités), the off-menu first courses are simply excellent (the ravioli stuffed with cacio e pepe in particular), and the roasted octopus is excellent. We skipped dessert because we were so full. A special mention goes to the young man who looked after us throughout the dinner, starting with the menu explanation and offering expert advice on what to choose. He was excellent, very knowledgeable, and friendly, but never intrusive. We've found our favorite place in Rome; it'll be a regular stop.

The restaurant is generally very nice. If there's room, you're seated upstairs on a cozy terrace, which you wouldn't expect from the outside, and the waiters were also extremely friendly. Unfortunately, we had very mixed feelings about the food: There were two of us and we each had a first and a second course, one of which was very good and one of which was very mediocre. My first course, spaghetti with sea urchin for €27, was a total disappointment, as the sea urchin was completely overcooked and tasted of nothing (anything?). The entire dish, which otherwise consisted of almost nothing, was correspondingly bland. The waiter's explanation that sea urchin tastes most intense raw, but unfortunately, it has to be heated because the dish also contains shrimp, wasn't very convincing. One wonders whether the quality of the sea urchin wasn't suitable for eating raw, but one definitely expects something different from such a dish. The ravioli with diced swordfish, on the other hand, was extremely delicious. For the second course, we had delicious yellowfin mackerel and swordfish, although the swordfish in the main course was unfortunately the same small cubes from the starter, where you'd expect a fillet/steak for a main course costing just under €30. At just over €100 for two for just the food without wine, the experience was unfortunately not good enough.

Excellent dinner, one of our best in Rome. This was recommended by a local. All the seafood was fresh and was an amazing change up from the typical pasta/pizza.

Seriously hard to beat. Small roof top restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere. Fresh, quick & exquisitely prepared seafood. After dining here , most other places seem rather lame and expensive. Also, shout out to Co-owner Mario. Lovely Gentleman.

I discovered this restaurant by chance while browsing the internet. I was immediately intrigued by the menu, and I decided to book. It turned out to be a truly charming place, with its terrace overlooking the Trastevere buildings. The food was excellent, a mix of Sicilian and Roman dishes. The staff was very friendly, and the owner was very nice. I highly recommend it.

Ottimo ristorante prevalentemente di pesce ma anche i primi di cucina romana erano super! Menzione speciale per la amatriciana!!! Consigliato!!!

Cena con amici. Antipasti ottimi per il palato. Primi assolutamente da assaggiare e per secondo una frittura di calamari dorata e morbida, veramente squisita. Tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino consigliato dal cameriere. Cannoli siciliani per finire. Impeccabile il servizio. Tornerò sicuramente. Antonello
