Veximà In Genova

I've been wanting to dine here for a while, and I have to say I'm glad I did. We booked for the second sitting (8:45 PM). We were warmly welcomed, the service was good, and the farinata was excellent! We also didn't wait long for our dishes, no more than 15 minutes. The price was reasonable.

This historic restaurant offers various types of chickpea farinata with seasonal ingredients, plus desserts. The farinata is truly amazing: crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also available for takeout. Excellent value.

Excellent discovery of farinatta!

Excellent farinata, not heavy or greasy at all. Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Recommended the classic version, gorgonzola, lard, and the one with stracciatella. The other toppings weren't very exciting. Rather than shrimp, I would have preferred pesto and stracchino. Sausage, mushrooms, spring onions, 'nduja in the name alone, ingredients that were scarce. Extremely long wait times and a hefty bill. Good, but not great.

Excellent farinata, even the versions with other ingredients, my favorites being the stracciatella and the one with shrimp 🦐! It's a shame they don't offer anything else on the menu; Genoese specialties like artichoke pie, onion pie, etc., and various fillings would be appreciated! Congratulations, excellent quality! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Veximà restaurant, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience! The farinata is absolutely delicious and offers a variety of flavors to satisfy every palate. Although the menu, in addition to farinata, only offers a choice of two appetizers, such as lardo or the delicious prosciutto and mozzarella, each dish is prepared with care and freshness. It's true that the octopus and potatoes are no longer available, but if you're a farinata lover, this is the place for you! Make sure you try a dessert! The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening. Plus, the convenience of a large parking lot nearby makes visiting even easier. I highly recommend visiting Veximà for a truly unforgettable dining experience...but remember to reserve a table if you want to secure a spot!

This was our first time at this typical restaurant in Genoa Voltri. We had the chance to try their signature dish, the farinata, which was excellent both plain and with gorgonzola and nduja. The wait was worth it, given the large crowd. I recommend everyone try this delicacy.
