Had the perfect dinner at this place near the Duomo. Fried courgette flowers stuffed with goats cheese, truffle cream pizza, and chocolate cake. All were excellent, but the pizza was the one I always imagined I would have in Florence - thin crust, crispy but chewy dough, beautiful toppings. So tasty. Great service as well.

Unsure as to why, but we had did not have high expectations of this place on entering. We not only ate everything that we ordered with absolute relish , we also ate our words. Everything was exceptional , from the service , to the staff to the ambience, to the food and also the wine. The entrecôte with lardo was cooked to perfection and served with attention, style and genuine warmth. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. It may be in a seemingly touristy part of Florence , near the cathedral, but it was Tuscan at its best. Our bill came to €40 each because. We drank and ate like there was no tomorrow

Hey guys! I've tasted typical Florence t-bone steak and it was amazing. Together with very good red toscany wine....I really recommend this place. Forget tik tok bullshit and to check this one. Trust your local guy advices...

03/09/2025: Spaghetti allo scoglio was very good. The mixed fried fish was equally good. The still house white wine wasn't great. Overall, a positive review.
02/09/2025: Nice and spacious place, both inside and out, comfortable enough for a disabled person, with helpful staff. Parking is available on-site. The menu is varied and offers plenty of choices at reasonable prices. There were four of us, and we went for lunch and ordered a seafood crostini, a mussel pepper dish, and a seafood appetizer (good portions, everything was delicious). We also ordered two tagliolini with lobster, a seafood spaghetti, and a fried seafood dish with potato chips. All accompanied by still water, a sparkling water, a liter of house white wine, a strawberry, a tiramisu, two coffees, and an Amaro del Capo liqueur. All for €138. Excellent price, quality, and quantity. Recommended!

Trattoria Pizzeria San Gallo

04/09/2025: Tasty local dishes. We tried pasta with whole shrimp and tiaglatele pasta with ragu. Finally, an exceptionally delicious tiramisu. I highly recommend it.
25/08/2025: Just wow wow wow!!!! We were so happy to have had this the first day we ended here in Florence. No flair and fuss. Just authentic pasta and we can’t try to taste more of their dishes! Our tastebuds are exploding with flavours and the staffs were so kind and welcoming. It made us really soulful and happy! Best food made by with such authentic energy!!!
