A beautiful spot coming down from Mt. Vesuvius National Park- such incredible food, reasonable prices for such gourmet!!!

It's worth coming here for these views. I drank the best espresso in Italy here! Desserts Also very tasty. Very nice service.

We went here for lunch after a walk in the Vesuvius national park. The restaurant has a breathtaking view and the possibility of seating guests both outside on the terrace and inside, where the tables are all near the windows so as not to miss the view. My wife and I had a fish-based lunch, with an appetizer of fried calamari and sea aubergine parmigiana, with swordfish, followed by a baked sea bream with candied lemon and potatoes. The fish was excellent, very fresh and cooked perfectly. For dessert we shared a slice of babà with Chantillì cream and biscuit crumble, following the advice of the waiter Giovanni, who pampered us throughout the meal. It was truly an exceptional lunch, asking for information I discovered that the chef also prepares the bread and desserts, which in fact are delicious! The wine list is excellent, with many choices both local and foreign, and a huge variety of bubbles for all budgets and tastes. If you are planning a visit to the Vesuvius national park make sure you stop at the Vesum restaurant, we will definitely be back!

In reference to the review of the 18 people, of which I don't want to go into the merits of the food, the service and everything else, but what left me most perplexed is the aggressiveness of the restaurateur's responses, moreover reading those of the other customers they also find me in agreement on this aspect... which insinuates that the guests don't understand about mozzarella... about the food... etc... that people don't have the money to pay because the ATM wasn't working... without even wondering that perhaps they had been safety limits were set on paper, not because there was no availability... moreover, I consider such an insinuation to be very low-caliber, in terms of professionalism and way of acting... Given that the owner sets himself up as a champion of master chef... and as I said in the introduction, I won't go into the merits... I suggest that in this sector it would be good practice to respectfully accept customer opinions and reviews... with a simple magic word "we're sorry if you weren't satisfied. we will work to improve ourselves" because otherwise perhaps he should think about giving himself up to horse racing as a jockey who can easily tell his horse to always run, always look ahead as he has blinders on... so much so that he will never have the right to reply... given that he doesn't speak...

Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante prima di effettuare l’escursione al Vesuvio. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo antipasto e delle linguine con scampi e pomodorini squisite.

Very pleasant surprise after the ascent of Vesuvius. Warm welcome, superb view from the terrace over the Bay of Naples. Very generous and good quality dishes. In short, an experience to recommend. Well done to the team at this restaurant. Very good value for money.
