Nice place, good food, but the view over Naples is a killer.

We stumbled upon Vesum while stopping for a coffee before tackling Vesuvius, and we were immediately won over by their kindness and friendliness. Excellent coffee! We decided to return for lunch. The service was excellent, the food sublime. The location overlooking the sea... Highly recommended.

We were a party of 6 (3 children) for lunch. Everyone really enjoyed the meal, whether the pastas or fish dishes we ordered. The service was attentive and accommodating and the prices reasonable. Both the front and the back of the house know what they're doing. We ate indoors near the large windows that enabled a spectacular view of the Bay of Naples. What a lucky find!

Great restaurant, delicious food and beautiful presentation with excellent staff. Giovanni was very attentive, polite and helpful. Gave us a tip to see Lava River since we could not go up all the way to Mt. Vesuvius due to wildfire. Highly recommend restaurant!

Tavolata di 16 persone domenica. Oltre a noi c’erano appena due coppie quindi “riempivamo” il locale, che ha una vista mozzafiato! Locale invece un po’ scarno, ma con un ottimo servizio. Per la parte culinaria abbiamo subito chiesto dei menu che non ci sono stati forniti se non dopo i primi antipasti di mare e di terra. Carta dei vini inesistente ma in compenso un ottima cantinetta ben fornita, ma da rivedere in quanto bottiglie ormai andate nel tempo (rosso del 2018 ormai imbevibile) e francamente mi sarei aspettato essere decurtato dal conto, mentre il bianco scelto era eccellente! Antipasti abbondanti ma su quello di mare tutto era congelato e se dico tutto è perché un po’ me ne intendo…primo di pesce buono anche se alcuni commensali non hanno gradito la pasta troppo al dente, ma quella è una questione soggettiva; in ogni caso il personale di sala si è subito distinto per rifare il piatto. Secondo di pesce insipido e non valeva i soldi spesi, mentre la frittura di calamari meritava. Di terra invece, la bistecca è stata molto apprezzata. In compenso dolci fantastici! Apprezzata molto la Mise en place e l’impiattamento. Insomma è stato un inizio invitante ma poi ci siamo persi sul più bello per finire comunque in bellezza: Il conto!?!? Ehm troppo al di sopra di quanto offerto, (1150€ oltre 70 euro a persona) dato che abbiamo preso 14 primi piatti e 5 secondi!

Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante prima di effettuare l’escursione al Vesuvio. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo antipasto e delle linguine con scampi e pomodorini squisite.
