The Japanese store clerk explained everything to me in detail, which was very helpful! Not only is the packaging cute, but the chocolate is surprisingly smooth, rich, delicious, and reasonably priced. I thought it would be the perfect souvenir for someone special. There are currently only two stores in Italy, so it's a rare find, so I highly recommend it!

This shop has the best gelato in town! My wife and I have tried other recommended places around town and even in Fiesole and none can compare. It’s a cute, serene little oasis in what can often be a rather chaotic city. The lady who runs the shop is the kindest and most generous person you’ll meet. When we first happened upon it, we thought we ventured into a studio Ghibli fantasy of a Florence gelato shop and it became our quotidien stop in a month long stay :)

I buy from this store every year at their Valentine's Day event, and I especially love their pistachio products. I was determined to definitely go there when I stopped by Florence! The staff were very kind, and the gelato and spreads were delicious. It's a shame that they don't carry many products for Valentine's Day, but I'm looking forward to next year.

Capatoast

06/12/2025: I've been going to Capatoast for years, but I'm very disappointed with the new menu. The prices are slightly lower, but the toasts have fewer fillings and, above all, the ingredients are of much lower quality. Either they return to the previous quality, or I think they'll lose a lot of loyal customers, including me.
25/11/2025: A young and vibrant atmosphere, large and generously filled sandwiches, perfect for a lunch break. They also offer coffee service. Excellent vegetarian options.
