Excellent service, nice atmosphere and typical food

I visited this restaurant based on its high Google ratings and had the mackerel (fish of the day) paired with a quarter of red wine. The food quality was excellent, and the wine recommended by the staff was truly amazing. However, I found the portion sizes to be quite small for the price, so it didn’t feel like the best value for money. On the plus side, the service was top-notch—the staff was attentive and very helpful with recommendations.

A restaurant for couples, local cuisine, pasta and excellent desserts (lallato and tiramisu), I recommend a warm and charming place.

Friendly and welcoming staff, small rooms with an intimate and elegant atmosphere. We chose the Bucintoro menu accompanied by an excellent Pinot Grigio: very fresh fish, excellent balance of flavors, and the staff were extremely kind. Exceptional value for money, highly recommended, and I'll be back in two days to try other delicacies. Congratulations!!

This is it. If you want to leave Venice with a great taste in your mouth, this is the place. The staff is incredibly friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious and authentic. IMPORTANT: Advance booking is essential.

Excellent value for money and friendly staff

Stylish interior with comfortable seating and a warm inviting setting. Service is friendly, efficient and professional. Less wowed by the food which was a little hit/miss on our visit: my squid and samphire appetiser was too oily with both ingredients heavily battered and deep-fried; however my husband said his squid ink pasta was superb. The Beef Cheek mains were beautifully tender and flavoursome, with good mashed potato (top marks to both!), but the second variety of potato on the plate (a slightly odd choice of baked potato slices; I'd have preferred a vegetable or some salad rather than two types of potato) was cold. Good house red wine, although not served at the ideal temperature, but we appreciated the flexibility of ordering 1/4 or 1/2 bottles. Overall an enjoyable evening thanks to the staff and setting, but it was far from our best meal in Venice despite the cost.

A well-deserved 5 stars! The food is EXCELLENT! The ingredients are truly special, and all the dishes are delicious. I recommend the fried tuna bites as an appetizer; I could eat another 100. €70 for two for an appetizer, two main courses, water, and coffee. The price was very reasonable for what we ate. In the heart of Venice, a less touristy, elegant place, a haven amidst all the chaos of the city. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

A wonderful venue in the charming Cannareggio neighborhood. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The decor and architecture were also meticulously designed, adding a touch of modernity to a beautifully historic setting.
