Food was okay, service was below average (they didn't even ask if you wanted a second wine or a café or amaro after your meal). Plates were cleared away without a word.
Ambience is very nice.

I visited this restaurant while on a holiday in Pizzo, Calabria. The food was hot and delicious, and the service was 5 stars. The waiter was attentive to our needs, and the ambience of the restaurant was awesome! We dined outside, and the weather in Tropea was wonderful! I highly recommend a visit to the Vecchio Granaio restaurant in Tropea, Italy.

The restaurant is located in a courtyard with a Calabrian atmosphere. The service is nice, we got a table even without a reservation. The wine selection is a bit poor. Wine by the glass is only available in one type each of red and white. For appetizer we had pecorino with red onion jam - great, recommend. Main course grilled steak and tuna - well cooked. Minus - we were not warned that the side dish is not included in the price of the meal and it was not offered to us

Ci trovavamo in vacanza a tropea e abbiamo deciso di fermarci a cenare al vecchio granaio. Esperienza culinaria magnifica, abbiamo preso tutti la pizza, assaggiando i vari gusti. Nessun gusto ci ha deluso, le pizze erano saporite, impasto eccellente e i prodotti freschissimi. Se ci ritroveremo da queste parti torneremo sicuramente. 5 stelle

Mi trovavo in vacanza a Tropea, e con la mia famiglia, abbiamo deciso di provare il “Vecchio Granaio”. Abbiamo scoperto prodotti freschissimi, personale disponibile e ottima qualità, in un menù completo, in particolare noi abbiamo optato per la pizza. Ciascuna pizza era deliziosa, ricca di sapori!
