Delicious coffee and pastries! A local and family place, has air conditioning, and not a tourist trap like the other restaurants around :)

The food was delicious; we had lasagna, spaghetti with tomato sauce, and spaghetti with cheese and pepper. The portions were just right. There wasn't a huge variety, but we ate well. Each dish was €10 and each Coke was €4. They also have ice cream and pastries. The staff is very friendly. There's no cover charge, so you can save money and have dessert. The dining room is air-conditioned; it's like your local bar—small and cozy.

After lots of walking around the Vatican museum me and my partner was very hungry, stopped at this beautiful little cafe and had an amazing calzone. Price is very cheap aswell

A few days ago, I accompanied a group of 48 young pilgrims to Rome. For almost a week, we ate daily at Vecchio Borgo, and everyone was VERY happy. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the prices were reasonable. The staff were warm, friendly, helpful, and kind, with surprising acts of generosity. The location is superb, so close to the Vatican. I recommend it without hesitation.
