The other places to eat around here were all very very crowded. This place wasn't empty, but one could find a place to sit. Very good service. The food tasted good, I imagine there is better out there, but the prices weren't too bad in comparison to the others. The bottled beverages like lemon tea were overpriced.(5.00)

Fantastic little place not too far from the Vatican. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. We had calzone and the pasta and both were devine. Washed down by a nice ice cold beer. Ignore the negative reviews and visit. Owner super friendly and felt welcomed and not pressured when dining.

Really tasty "bar" food at lower prices. The service was very friendly, we didn't have to wait long. The decor inside could be better, but we sat outside and it was fine. Good location for a bite to eat after a long tour of the Vatican.

04/06/2025: Ho voluto provare la pizza a cena ma ho scelto evidentemente il giorno sbagliato, ovvero la domenica sera. Premetto che la qualità è ottima, pizza bassa e croccante e il rapporto qualità prezzo altrettanto ottimo. Purtroppo ci hanno servito le pizze dopo 1 ora e questo non è assolutamente accettabile, può starci un po' di attesa nei momenti di maggior affollamento ma non a questi livelli. Oltretutto il personale si è dimostrato infastidito per le varie richieste e solleciti cercando di giustificarsi con scuse assurde. Indubbiamente la nuova gestione deve ancora perfezionare molto l'organizzazione del locale. Mi riservo di riprovare in un giorno settimanale.
01/06/2025: Ristorante con ottima posizione fronte mare, la pizza è buonissima e anche la cucina lascia super soddisfatti, al sabato sera considerato che il locale è sempre molto pieno la pizza potrebbe non essere servita in 10 m. Ma vale la pena attendere. Dolci artigianali buonissimi , ottimo locale per una serata tra amici

Ristorante La Romanella

10/07/2025: We traveled to Rome for our first time and stayed near the Vatican City, this restaurant had the tastiest food from all the restaurants near by and has very reasonable pricing. We dined here 5 times, we had grilled chicken breast, steak, seafood salad, pasta, complimentary prosecco, and everything was delicious. Will be coming here next trip. Thank you.
05/07/2025: El Aperol Spritz estaba muy bueno y frío. La pizza estaba buena, pero en nuestra opinión un poco de sal a la masa la haría mucho mejor. También creo que estaba un poco demasiado cocido, pero a mi esposa le gusta así.
