I would like to point out that my reviews, when with medium/low ratings, are intended to be an incentive to improve more and more. Given this….
I have known this place for 20 years and I have visited it under all the managements that have followed one another over time, so I wanted to try the current one too.
The first time I went on a Saturday for lunch: lots of people but fast and friendly service, excellent 4 cheese risotto and a fixed price menu that was definitely spot on.
I therefore returned a second time, one evening during the week…. I didn't have the same experience: the pizza was raw (so raw that the bread was still white), the pasta overcooked and covered in pepper (which hid all the flavors of a classic carbonara). Observations were also made in the room without anything changing. The fact that he was unwell when he arrived home proved to be the proof of the 9.
Cover charge at €2.50 when there was no cover, apart from cutlery (tablecloth and paper napkins, no bread or breadsticks). Too much and unjustified. Total bill unbalanced between quality and price.
I don't know, maybe I'll try a third time but at the moment I'm quite disappointed by this latest experience and the desire to return isn't very high.
Final advice (also written by those who have worked in catering for 20 years): leaving dirty tables with diners gone for more than 20 minutes is not a good sign for those who are dining next door. Setting up a table takes less than 2 minutes and there is plenty of time, especially if there are 10 people in the room. Again, personal advice.
Let's hope for an improvement, come on!

We had a wonderful evening. The antipasti platter was very good. The polenta with two different types of meat was an absolute taste experience and, last but not least, the home-baked cake was a dream. Thank you for the great evening with the dishes prepared with a lot of love.

We stopped today for the lunch break, work menu from 13 euros even today which is Saturday! We were welcomed by a nice and very helpful girl who immediately put us at ease! The guy who served us was also great and the food was really great! Excellent quality/price
mo! I recommend the 4 cheese risotto, but the rest was also quality! Congratulations to the chef, his brother and all the staff! PS: the salami is excellent! We will come back for sure
Nowadays places like this are a mirage!

Leggendo le recensioni ho deciso di andarci e ho fatto benissimo lo consiglio vivamente. I simpatici proprietari in breve tempo ci hanno fatto accomodare nonostante fosse pieno e non avessimo prenotato. Abbiamo preso due menù e una spettacolare farinata di ceci la migliore che abbia mai mangiato. Particolare menzione per i ravioli burro e salvia e gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare. Prezzi competitivi ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tornerò sicuramente.
