The restaurant was recommended to us by an acquaintance from Freiburg, and we ate there every evening. Fabio and his team were incredibly friendly, and the value for money is excellent. The food is of very, very high quality. We would definitely come back.

What a fantastic, authentic place! We stumbled upon it by chance. We were lucky there was still a spot available. Almost everyone was full or had reservations. The food is delicious and affordable. As is the wine. The staff is super friendly, and we were amazed by the unique decor. Highly recommended!

A very authentic place and exceptional food.

A friend recommended this place to us for their legendary carbonara, but unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The sauce wasn't bad, but the pasta (spaghetti) lacked salt, and you could taste the difference. Carbonara needs to be punchy...either really good or not at all. The artichokes were excellent, and the staff was friendly. I recommend booking because the place is small.

This is the kind of restaurant that, the moment you look at it, you think, "My God, where have I ended up?". It doesn't seem like anything special. Kind of simple, very typical. And then… you take the first bite. That's it. Love at first bite. It's truly an Italian restaurant, in the most literal sense of the word. They don't speak English (you can barely ask for it). The dishes are generous. Nothing exaggerated, but very honest. If you eat little, you'll leave satisfied. And the best part: they don't mind at all if you want to share a dish with someone at the table. That, for me, is a huge plus. The food is really delicious. A real tiramisu, the kind that makes you want to learn how to make it just to try and recreate it when you go back to Italy. And if you're the adventurous type, try the Roman tripe. Yes, that's exactly what you're thinking: the famous tripe. But wow… it's a thousand times better than many dishes out there. Flavorful, well-seasoned, surprising. Oh, and one last thing. If you can, learn a few words in Italian before you go. Nothing too complicated. A "buongiorno," a "grazie mille." It makes a difference. Not only so you can order what you want, but to really get into the spirit of things. It's the kind of place that's not just about eating, it's about experiencing a little bit of Italy there, their way. I loved it so much I barely took a picture of the food 🤭
