I've been going to this place for years and have never been disappointed. Since I became vegan, it is one of the few restaurants that I have found capable of offering perfect off-menu solutions, based on always fresh and seasonal ingredients. Proof that they really cook here, unlike other places that are unable to improvise anything outside their menu.

Fantastic: the place is super nice and well-kept and the service is top, with the waiters being very professional, but also very approachable. And the food was absolutely a surprise: for lunch they have a fixed menu of €15,20,25 (which includes water, glass of wine, starter, dessert and then either first course, second course or both). The dishes are very particular, with many fish alternatives, which is not very common in the area. Absolutely worth trying!

Truly a pleasant discovery! We took a fish tasting menu with two courses and a vegetarian main course, they made sure of our tastes and we were super satisfied! New, tasty and well-filled combinations. To conclude, dessert and coffee. They supply water for free as long as you want and an excellent focaccia. They deserve 5 stars, the service is fast and friendly and the environment is simple and refined. Absolutely coming back!

At star level but even better I would say! Very well furnished place with class, really friendly staff and the dishes.... omg!!!! What a delight, what quality, what delicacies!!!! I have been to many restaurants in my life but I have never trusted myself to take food blindly but here, my children, I went very easily with the tasting and I can swear to you that I have never eaten such good, fresh fish, cooked to order! If you want lunch, dinner or anything else, you have to come here! Thank you very much to Gustavo who puts his body and soul into his work! 😍 From Brescia Silvia

Cucina della tradizione ma non dozzinale; fuori dagli schemi , ricette della tradizione ormai non più proposte in zona, come la bomba di riso o il pesce di fiume. Ricerca maniacale delle materie prime e , altra cosa molto interessante, ampia selezione di vini naturali.

Siamo capitati per caso in questo ristorante perché gli altri aperti di domenica a pranzo erano tutti pieni. Ci provano. I piatti sono buoni, il servizio un po’ tentennante ma si impegnano a farlo sembrare di alta qualità, (purtroppo è successo un piccolo incidente con una bottiglia di Lambrusco che ha fatto saltare il tappo riversando il contenuto per terra durante il servizio), la location storica ma con suppellettili da rivedere. Se non mangi carne (come me e mia figlia) la scelta non è varia ma comunque ce la siamo cavata con dei tagliolini al limone e caviale. Mio marito ha preso il menu degustazione con salumi misti piacentini, ravioli tipici con ripieno di erbe. Un dolce al cioccolato che è piaciuto molto a nostra bimba. Conto un pochino alto. Nel complesso non so se tornerei.

13/07/2024: We spent four nights in a house for four people, with two bedrooms, kitchen-dining room-living room and bathroom. Everything very clean; The bathroom and kitchen are clean, complete and new. The beds were comfortable for us. The group of houses is beautiful, in a very quiet place, with views over the hills of Piacenza, cooler than in the valley, with the atmosphere and peace that is normally sought in a rural house. The treatment received from Stefano, the owner, has been magnificent. Attentive and discreet, he kindly received us and prepared our breakfasts. Due to the reason for our stay we have only had breakfast in the house, although due to the quality of the same, we believe that it may be advisable to also order lunch or dinner. Meals are served in a large room with dining tables, very comfortable, within the farm building complex. We took some very pleasant walks from the rural house through very quiet and bucolic areas. There are very interesting places within a short drive. In short, this establishment can be recommended without a doubt.
24/06/2024: Two days of peace and good food. Very clean accommodations faithful to the rustic style, overlooking the Piacenza countryside where the gaze is lost! Excellent dinner with traditional recipes and breakfast with fresh products, a pleasure for the palate of our children too who appreciated everything. But the real plus was the welcome and friendliness of Stefano who provided us with simple advice for visiting the area. 5 stars with honors!

Ristorante Lo Zingaro

14/08/2024: This place will amaze you!!! We ate divinely, all the pasta is homemade, family run which gives the place an extra touch. Don't miss to stop by if you are in the area, it won't disappoint you!!! Definitely worth returning.
10/08/2024: Excellent trattoria, near Ponte dell'Olio, you can eat well and spend little, the cook Carla is fantastic
