Whenever I'm in Florence, this is a regular stop. It's the best Florentine osteria, not touristy but authentic. Excellent steak and other dishes too. Friendly service, and kudos to Riccardo, who always gives us a warm welcome.

The owners are very kind, the service is excellent, always cheerful and cheerful, the place is perhaps a little small but always busy, the food is reasonably priced because the dishes are portioned for two, and the food is delicious, high-quality, beautifully presented. I highly recommend it.

A typical Florentine osteria, with a very wide selection of traditional dishes. Few tourists, many locals. We had excellent fried calf’s brain, chicken liver crostini, bread with butter and anchovies, the “tegamino del carcerato” (made with quinto quarto and offal), and an exceptional ossobuco. Two bottles of Rosso di Montalcino (a decent selection of Tuscan wines). An excellent place for anyone who wants to experience real Tuscan food.

Highly recommended spot, not touristy at all, authentic dishes, and very friendly service. Flavorful regional cuisine. A special shout-out to the short, mustachioed waiter who made our lunch so enjoyable—a 10 out of 10!

The atmosphere is authentic and friendly. The dishes speak for themselves! The pici with lamb and pecorino cheese were delicious!! We'll be back every time we're in Florence.
