This is a strange place to review. Please only come here if you have time to spare, it takes awhile. And the drinks are delicious but typical. Stefano is a very great guy and makes good drinks but it’s more about having a good time then the drinks. We enjoyed meeting Stefano and chatting with him for hours.

A true speakeasy. You'd never expect the nondescript door down a dark ally was a business. If you aren't savvy to speakeasy lingo or culture you probably won't get in. But the experience is worth the effort if you love American prohibition cocktail culture. The drinks are excellent. Hidden gem with very strict door policy. It's management by fear if you get inside, but ambiance and cocktails are worth the effort. If Stefano accepts you, you're in for a treat and a very special experience behind the red curtains. Cocktails are 15 €

I am back in Florence with my wife now three years later for our anniversary. I am embarrassed to see I hadn’t updated my review after we got in years ago. What a wonderful experience after getting past that gruff doorman on staff (hah)! Unfortunately I can’t have what I did back then without health issues. It also seems that it is closed now the rest of our time in Florence. I also saw on some website that it may be permanently closed which I pray is not the case. The passion is palpable and I wish I could see how it is now as there were some very neat ideas being discussed with that “horrible owner” that I won’t name here. Loved it. Probably still would but don’t want to ruin any vibes not being able to partake as I once could.
