I had the most delicious pistachio cream croissant I've ever had in my life. You can't tell from the photo, but the dough smelled like orange, and the rich pistachio cream was overflowing until the very end. If I come to Rome again, I'd like to stay at San Giovanni just for this croissant.

Historic bar of the Valentini family who, after having managed the place for many years, passed the baton to the Felli family. A point of reference in the neighborhood and a place for pleasant meetings in the sun sitting at the tables and enjoying pleasant breakfasts and aperitifs.

Aperol from a jar! €9 and snacks. The coffee is delicious, the service is pleasant. You can sit inside, or you can enjoy the sun at the outdoor tables.

A real Italian café, friendly atmosphere, great service... where you drink coffee at the bar and (filled) croissants or sandwiches are ready in the display case. Outside is a spacious terrace. Just a very pleasant place!

An incredible place, very good coffee and cappuccino at unbeatable prices, a warm welcome, quality products. We were there every morning during our stay. You can eat there morning noon evening. Everything is excellent and the service is fast and careful.

Drinks og kagerne var fine, men service er ikke noget de går op i. Middelmådig oplevelse, gå hellere hen på poppies coffee bar. Det er bedre på alle parametre, og ligger kun 150 meter væk

Er Caffettiere

06/04/2025: They work hard like few others, and given the little space available, hats off to them. Kind and courteous, they have a good choice for breakfast, aperitif, lunch or dinner and the prices are honest. Excellent choice for the cafeteria, also a great place to grab a bite to eat for lunch. Small place, but the tables are there and the service is quick.
28/03/2025: Very good address, establishment seen by chance at the exit of the Cavour metro station. A small dish with lots of choice, very well presented and quality. Welcoming staff.
