Vaca Loca In Roma

I was here for a birthday dinner, and what can I say...excellent food, equally excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The first courses were exquisite; the rigatoni with ragù sauce was something you could mop up. The second course, with zucchini and guanciale, was appetizing and flavorful just right. The pasta was cooked al dente and was a pleasure to eat. The second courses were a rare tagliata (you can ask for it any way you like), tender and flavorful. The hamburger was generous, cooked to perfection, and the meat was top-quality. The side dishes, starting with the baked potatoes (the best), moving on to the chicory, and finishing with the fried scallop shells...truly plentiful and delicious. I'll conclude with the appetizer :) by saying that the cured meats and cheeses were top-quality, so good that I ordered several portions, accompanied by a warm focaccia that was soft and crispy just right. I've already been to this beautiful restaurant for dinner several times, and since I had such a great time, I decided to celebrate my 40th birthday there. Well, what can I say: WONDERFUL!!!! We were welcomed, looked after, and pampered in the best possible way. From the owner to the staff, everyone was impeccable... Relatives and friends gave us so many compliments!!! A wonderful experience. We stopped by for lunch with my sister-in-law and niece. The menu was excellent, the staff was kind and friendly, the portions were generous, and the bill was reasonable. I would recommend it to everyone. If I were to ever be in the area again, I would gladly return. Thanks to all the staff.

I already knew Vaca Loca, I thought they'd just moved, but instead they've completely changed the place's identity! Let's start with the very nice place; the old one was more spartan. The service was good and fast, and everyone was very friendly! I have to say the food was top-notch. There were two of us, and we only had appetizers: a caprese salad, four patanegra skewers, a portion of meatballs in tomato sauce, an artichoke and crispy bacon flan, a pinsa, and a bottle of water = €68! Honestly, I found it a bit expensive, but I can't say the food wasn't good...afterward, I thought there might have been a mistake in the bill! I'll be careful next time! Anyway, worth a try.

One of a kind, exceptional meat 🥩

A truly perfect evening. We started with a delicious bruschetta with Pata Negra lard, and then indulged in a nearly two-pound tomahawk steak, cooked to perfection and of excellent quality. Accompanying it was a glass of Valpolicella for me and a draft beer for my partner. The baked potatoes on the side were equally excellent. To finish on a sweet note, a truly delicious "Vaca Loca" tiramisu with chocolate chips and cream, and an exquisite crème brulee. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The bill is proportionate to the quality: the prices are clear, and knowing the quality of the meat is easy to manage. It's not my first time there, and this second experience only confirmed the excellent impressions of the first. Highly recommended restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious food and a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere

Stopped by for a quick bite. I realized that looking at the photos, it wasn't quite what it appeared to be. However, my expectations were slightly lower than we expected, especially regarding the food. It could improve, but it's average to high...
