Found by chance bypassing the Brenner traffic jam. We actually just wanted to have a drink... but when we saw the mighty burger we couldn't resist... and honestly... that was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Bread fluffy and crispy, not like the dry ones you usually get served....a decent 3cm beef patty with a great grilled taste, bacon, crispy salad and a fantastic dressing. ...from 9 euros....plus cheese 10....to 14.....and they're so big, you don't need fries with them.... I went straight to the kitchen and complimented the chef. The waitresses are also very on the ball. We'd love to come back on our next trip to Lake Garda...even if there's no traffic jam...more scenery...less metal around the eyes. Continued success

Unser Gasthof, im Süden Südtirols, ist sonnig und ruhig gelegen, abseits von Verkehr und Lärm." Südtiroler Küche. Park- und Wandergelegenheiten, großer Innen- und Außenbereich. Man macht etwas falsch, wenn man in der Gegend ist und nicht dort hingeht.
30/04/2025: Gigantischer Ausblick auf Bozen und Südtirol, wirklich tolle Lage. Überschaubare Südtiroler Speisekarte, alles sehr lecker.

20/07/2025: A beautiful and elegant place, slightly dark, but it depends on your taste. High-quality food, well-prepared and beautifully served. At first glance, it seems like a very well-groomed place, but the helpful and fun staff immediately puts you at ease, making every step of the meal enjoyable. A refined wine list with truly interesting labels. There are many tempting off-menu options. I would go back!
05/07/2025: The food was absolutely amazing! The place and the restaurant are very beautiful. Great wine selection. The restaurant was full, and it was clear the staff had a lot to handle. We’ll definitely come back every time we’re in Merano.
