Uwald Alm In Valle di casies

Beautiful alpine pasture that can be easily reached via forest road or forest path from St. Magdalena. After fresh snow in September, we were lucky enough to be able to sit on the terrace at lunchtime in the sunshine and enjoy a delicious dumpling soup. Very friendly service, delicious food and drinks at fair prices, clean toilets and an unbeatable view.

If there were more stars I would give them all!!! We ate with friends after the beautiful walk to reach this mountain hut and it was really worth it! Spectacular polenta and speck and melted cheese, cold plate of cured meats and cheeses at the top, exquisite goulash and what can we say about the apple fritters with vanilla sauce.... The staff is not only kind and professional but also very nice. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!!

Second time in this mountain hut, the food is excellent, excellent quality food, the best trio of dumplings ever eaten, delicious Kevin pasta. Owner and staff very kind and friendly. I highly recommend
