We often come to this mountain hut, the only place where you can eat well in Val Badia... but absolutely avoid it in August, you have to book, queue to get in, the staff - the girls - are STRESSED... SAD AND RUDE.
... We returned now in August... but it turned out to be a disappointment 😳

A beautiful location surrounded by greenery. Friendly, knowledgeable, and unobtrusive waiters. Quick and tasty food.
Excellent potatoes, speck, and eggs. The tagliatelle with venison ragù is good, but perhaps lacking a bit in flavor.
It's still an excellent value and a different, unique experience.

I found this lodge much more authentic than the average in the valley, a welcoming and friendly atmosphere without overdoing the glossy image of some places. I have fond memories of it. The prices were very fair and the desserts were delicious. The lady who served us was truly friendly and professional.
