Excellent place for delicious sushi with generous portions. Miso soup is excellent here and they also have Kirin Ichiban, Sapporo beer and Kirin Light - all delicious beers.

Best sushi in Sarasota by far. Don’t be fooled by exterior- inside it’s very nice and service excellent- food outstanding- top 10 sushi I’ve ever had- don’t hesitate

Best sushi I’ve ever had. Come here every time we visit Sarasota and it’s always fresh and delicious. Service is top notch and a great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Best sushi in Sarasota. Sushi literally melts in your mouth. Authentic Japanese atmosphere. Mouthwatering selection of sake. I’ve been to the best sushi restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto. Nothing comes closer in Sarasota than Utamaro.

Hokkaido Sushi

11/10/2024: This evening I returned from Hokkaido after a couple of years since my last visit, everything was perfect. Impeccable service and very good food, especially the sushi. I recommend it and I will definitely go back!

26/10/2024: It's been a long time since I've been here... coming back and finding some good sushi in a nice location brightened up my evening. Should we go back? Certainly more often.
06/10/2024: If you want to eat excellent sushi you have to come here! The service on Saturdays is slower because there are many seats, so I recommend going during the week. For the rest it is a guarantee
