Located in the square of a small Cilento village, it offers the opportunity for a relaxing al fresco dinner. Traditional dishes, fresh pasta, and homemade desserts. Everything is excellent: quality, generous portions, and prompt service. A classic example of how all you need to eat well is good food. The bill is excellent, too!

An osteria with excellent food and fairly quick service, in a rustic setting in the piazza of a hilltop village. Recommended if you want a good, relaxed meal without seeking too much sophistication. Flavorful ragù and delicious cod served in all sauces.

You arrive in this village on the square where there is the usteria, a bar, and the pharmacy... incredible. It seems like a fairytale village on one side, and invisible on the other. Where we went in the square there were more than ten tables and lots of people waiting. You really come here because the food is good, there is no other reason. Friends who frequent the usteria brought us. The cold cuts and cheese were good. I ate the excellent homemade ravioli. They are good at cooking cod, their specialty (which my friends ordered). The pizza is EXCELLENT 😜

Excellent, a must-visit if you're in the area. We've been there several times and tried various dishes. The platter was delicious, and the cod was delicious, both fried with sweet and sour onions and with the legendary crusco pepper. The dessert of the evening was the tart, with homemade fig jam. Ustaria Rusella is a byword for good food. The staff is incredibly kind, which never hurts. PS: The diners' forks are quicker than the camera.

Isteria Rossella was a unique discovery... an excellent experience! The cod was truly exquisite, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The homemade pasta is a real treat; you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal preparation. The rustic location adds a touch of warmth and authenticity that makes the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those looking for traditional cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere! We'll definitely be back.

Piazza Duomo Steakhouse

22/09/2025: September 21, 2025, on the occasion of the feast of San Matteo, patron saint of the city of Salerno, there are so many emotions. I recommend visiting the cathedral crypt. And on this feast day, there is the flower festival of the six saints, followed by the parade through the city streets, all very beautiful and characteristic. N.B. There is no need to pay an entrance ticket.

23/09/2025: A pleasant discovery, we had lunch at this restaurant throughout our stay at the Contursi spa. Excellent food and attention to detail. Professional and friendly waiter. It's very difficult to find places like this. Congratulations!
15/09/2025: A very charming place, meticulously curated down to the smallest details, combining tradition and modernity. We ordered a meat-based appetizer, and the quality was truly top-notch: fresh, carefully selected ingredients. We then ordered two pizzas: a four-cheese pizza with spicy salami, and a cunzata. These were spectacular pizzas, with very light dough and, I repeat, super fresh and high-quality ingredients. To finish, we ordered a delicious house red wine and sparkling water for drinks, spending a total of €51.50. I'd say it's an excellent price for the quantity, quality, and sophistication of the ingredients. The staff was super friendly, helpful, always kind, and ready to accommodate every need. This place is definitely worth a try, I highly recommend it; we'll be back soon.
