The food was very good! We ordered multiple dishes and all were amazing. The soups and main courses were both very good. The restaurant looks beautiful from the outside, but getting there is a bit hard, especially if you do not come from town. The restaurant is also a bit understaffed, so we had to wait a bit before we could order, but the food itself arrived quickly.

I had my Birthday dinner at Da Checco and loved it so much I came back two nights later for the venison. The service is friendly and prompt, the building, inside and out, is spacious and beautiful and the food is first class. Over the two nights we ate the chestnut flour gnochi, veal tomahawk, venison loin special (awesome), tripe soup ( was amazing- one of the best tripe dishes I’ve had) and the venison ragout tagliatelle ( this was the only dish that was a little disappointing). The wine selection is excellent and the Unertl beer is a winner. Highly recommend Da Checco and it is very well priced. We had a great time on both visits.

Excellent osteria, with a very refined and truly beautiful atmosphere. Conveniently located in the town center, yet away from the crowds, on a quiet side street. Excellent location, and convenient parking make it easy to get to. The food is good, with delicious, carefully prepared dishes. I definitely recommend it for a lovely evening with your partner or for celebrating events. It's also great for friends and informal gatherings, and is a great choice. Attentive and professional staff.

The restaurant is very good: the atmosphere, service, and food are all very well prepared and of high quality. I recommend it. However, it's more expensive.
If you're going with two people and ordering wine, appetizers, etc., be prepared to pay.
One of the truffle pasta dishes we ordered came to €22, just one dish.

My partner and I went for my birthday and our anniversary. We've been coming here for four years because the food is always good and we've always been happy. The only downside this time is that there aren't any gluten-free options. We asked for a gluten-free first course, but unfortunately it wasn't available because they didn't have gluten-free pasta. Luckily, they recommended a meat-based second course, accompanied by gluten-free crackers. It's a shame there weren't any first courses (despite having mentioned our intolerance when booking).
Otherwise, the food was good, and the service was excellent.

A very elegant and welcoming place. The girls are professional, always smiling and kind, and they convey a sense of calm. The meat was delicious, cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. If I could just make one small complaint, I would have added an extra zucchini and potato. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
